Hi-Score Girl ep5-10

It's not without issue, but this series is really quite charming. If they can't get a decent conclusion on the end of it, I'm going to write to my MP.

Endro! (English Dub) Episode 12 (Complete)

Chou Kadou Girl 1/6: Amazing Stranger Episode 3

Mr. Nobunaga's Young Bride Episode 3 (Uncensored)
Let the waifu wars begin.

Stop This Sound Episode 3
I'm getting a bad feeling about that VP. A decent episode though.

We Never Learn: BOKUBEN Episode 3
Princess Uruka is here.

Demon Slayer episode 3
So this is enjoyable but is it just me or does it feel really predictable? Like further down the line it'll just all come together as you expect and not really do anything that isn't already in the OP. Not familiar with the source material but someone say if I'm way off.
We Never Learn episode 3
Amazing Stranger episode 3
Joshi Kausei episode 3
I've decided this is bobbins. Not sure whether to drop it or as its so short just put it on hold for a bit.

Nobunaga-sensei ep 3

Joshi Kausei ep 3
One way of perking your morning up.

Ao-chan ep 3
School trip. Kijima is a gent.
Out of all the ecchi shorts, these 3 and Why are you here, this one has some actually wholesome scenes.

Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu ep 3
This however is almost 100% wholesome.

We Never Learn ep 3
Midterms and princesses.

Demon Slayer ep 3
"It's the..... eye of the tiger"

Karakuri Circus 26 - when faceless rebuilt columbine did he also tweak something to make her 70% thirstier?
Also the scene with the android Os was very sad ☹️

Seven Mortal Sins 1-5 - until watching this series, I thought I’d go through my whole life not hearing someone say “your boobs don’t have psychic powers” and some guy loudly shouting “I could be home watching porn”
Actually, after a recent study surfaced showing signs of a frustrated population, I can believe the exclamation of adult materials

One Punch Man 2 1-2 - I can certainly see why JC staff was a controversial choice to adapt this one, they seem seem to be fans of trying to fit solid details in rather than anything that denotes movement, losing one of the reasons why people liked season 1 so much. From episode 2 I can see that Garo is going to pop up a lot in concerns with the association while Saitama is going to have some pretty self contained misadventures. The OP and ED seems to be searching for the same flavour as the first season, but I just don’t think any of it is as good. Why madhouse didn’t pick this back up after their first success is beyond me, didn’t they do hellsing twice?

We Never Learn: BokuBen ep 3
Kono Oto Tomare! ep 3

Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note - A Grave Keeper, a Cat, and a Mage Special ep 0 [END]

It was a very interesting watch with a cool cast of characters, looking forward to the main thing. 6/10

Boruto ep 4

Things I've watched recently, part 4: random stuff...

MD Geist: original (dubbed), director's cut (subtitled)
I ran across this old 1980s OVA, and it's every bit as bad as I'd read! 😅

@Professor Who's man-in-the-know Justin Sevakis is best-placed to explain just how awful this episode is in this reminiscence (entitled "Buried Garbage"!), since he was forced to actually work on the thing during his time at Central Park Media.

Fun fact: according to the scene-setting on-screen text that follows the violent opening salvo, our title character, Geist, "was Commander of Special Maneuvering Force and had the supermundane fighting ability by virtue of the specific biological 'clonning' technology." Oh dear. Even its translation is crap.

Oh, and the dub gives a line of dialogue to the wrong character at one point near the end, creating an unintended "plot" twist.

I've also recently seen Osamu Tezuka's unusual short film Jumping, the much-fancied La Maison en Petits Cubes (excellent stuff, and very poignant), and the three OVA episodes of Dangaioh (also a standout for me).

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations episode 103 To hell with fate.

Cinderella Nine episode 3 Playing pretend?

Midnight Occult Civil Servants episode 3 Threads and altars.

Ed Wood (Film) One of my favourite films and an ode to a filmmaker known for his craptastic craft and dedication to the art. Martin Landau is sublime as Bela Lugosi and Burton provides a more character-driven story than his usual stylistic flare. 4.5/5

Spider-Man Homecoming (Film) As fun as it was in cinemas, and Keaton’s Vulture is still one of the better villains in the MCU. A good start for the third LA reboot series. 4/5

Having wanted to see MD Geist for ages, I was keen to show it at our last vintage anime night, but my friend who hosts us balked at the idea, so I think I’ll be watching it on my tod :/

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind episode 8

The Rising of the Shield Hero episode 6

Hyouka episodes 18-22 [End] - Yet another great series by KyoAni this time tackling the mystery genre. It's KyoAni so of course the visuals are pretty amazing and the music is also great with some classical tracks from the likes of Bach and Beethoven making an appearance. The characters are also fun to watch as well in their deductions not to dissimilar from what you'd expect from detective stories which were pretty engaging. Thanks based KyoAni. 9/10

Cinderella Nine Episode 3
An old rival with a familiar face.

Fairy Gone Episode 3
At last, some decent-ish action.

Your friend must have good taste! 😆😅

But seriously, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, Prof, if you fancy giving it a dissection in the Rate-out-of-10 thread whenever you do watch it. 👍
I'll chime in with a pithy comment or two as well.
