I can relate to the first segment both in terms of the gaming, obviously the opposite problem to hers of waiting for Japanese versions I remember waiting months for the English versions of Japanese games. And in terms of buying naughty mags! Which were also definitely for research purposes only 😏
The set up and reveal in the third segment was hilarious.

Dropkick on my Devil! episode 7 Today I bore witness to a sneaky snek eating a halo and going super saiyan for a brief moment. The rest of the episode had its sweet parts too.

Holmes of Kyoto episode 7 The series now has a primary antagonist which is interesting. This was a better episode than last week, more in the vein of the first couple.

Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for spirits- episode 21 Seeing a nicer side to Nene and Hideyoshi was pleasant, plus another nice moment for Aoi and Odanna.

Phantom in the Twilight episode 7 Friends are reunited as it really hits the fan towards the end.

Steins;Gate Zero (Dub) episode 16 Some
Great VA performances again this week as the tension hits a boiling point.

Parasyte -The Maxim- episodes 19-24 (Complete. An engaging story about alien possession and the subsequent problems it causes to the innocents around them as well as MC Shinichi who finds himself in between both species. Though I did find the final confrontation less engaging than the climax that came before, overall this was one of those recommended popular anime I should have seen sooner.) 4/5

Pom Poko (Film) An inventive and visually impressive outing from Studio Ghibli. The imagery and creativity helped to make a relatively simple story more engaging, and despite being one of the longer Ghibli films the pacing was still solid (even if it did feel a tad longer than it needed to be.)

I never did get used to the whole expanding testicle business though... All in all this is one of the hidden gems in their filmography for me, even if it does retread some of the man-destroying-nature themes that recurred in Ghibli titles. 3.5/5

Jashin undergoes a sudden transformation after receiving a gift from satan. The whole super saiyan reference scene was pretty funny.

Aoi and Hinata plan their next mountain hike, surprisingly with different people.

Holmes of Kyoto (Sub) Episode 7
Another party invitation has Aoi and Kiyotaka compete in a competition of real or fake, at least we get to see Aoi has been paying attention to Kiyotaka's teachings.

Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits (Sub) Episode 21
Aoi gets a chance to bond with Nene. It was also nice to see a nicer side to Hideyoshi and Nene. Aoi and Odanna get another sweet moment together.

One Room Season 2 (Sub) Episode 7
Minori makes a shocking request.

Phantom in the Twilight (Sub) Episode 7
Ton and Shinyao are finally reunited which was rather touching.

I enjoyed it a decent amount, always enjoy things that incorporate Greek gods however I am disappointed that Phobos and Deimos were not included.

It lived up to the standards of the first part which is to say it was bad.

Aoi goes to another party! More character driven than mystery plot this week. Good to see Aoi has been paying attention and I wonder if she has seen through Moriarty already with her thought about him being a stray?

Black Clover episode 46 The fierce battle continues.

Overlord III episode 7 My hypothesis was indeed correct.

Ant Man and the Wasp (Film) A very fun movie with very creative setpieces and that strain of Marvel humour that sometime hits and sometimes misses. The plot here was interesting enough but felt a bit overloaded with antagonistic figures, including yet another generic evil business man (an archetype Marvel has pedalled a few times now) However this was possibly better than the first film, expanding upon what made it work. It's good fun, not top tier but knows what I wants to be. 4/5

Definitely my second least favourite addition to the fate franchise, only worse for me personally is prisma Illya.

I’ll have to catch up with simuldubs in the morning, ended up watching a couple films with the OH which was so worth it. 👍🏻

Zenigata III: Part 5 ep20

Not a standout episode by this season's standards, but it's nice to see Zenigata get some time in the spotlight for a change. I like the attention to detail on the Eastern-bloc cars too.
