DARLING in the FRANXX (Sub) Episode 23
Really good ep. What a series this has been, and what a cliffhanger to end on for the final episode. This has had everything that has made this series so good. It's a shame it all comes to a end next week, I hope we get a second season announcement or at least an OVA.

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online (Sub) Episode 12 (Complete)
Pretty good final episode. The whole fight between LLENN and Pitohui was good but too short. The whole scene where goshi revealed his true personality to Karen and Miyu was awkward but funny.😅 7/10

The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments (Sub)
Episode 24 (Complete)

Franxx (23) - I... have no words but space waifu
it did seem to go through zero's development pretty quick though, no real arc for her in it just a 180. I really hope the ending of this leads to a really good confrontation in the finale

Darling in the FranXX episode 23 Fans reacting to that ending like:

Hozuki's Coolheadedness 2nd Season 2nd Cour episode 26 (Complete. Another fun season with inventive plots characters and jokes that not nearly enough people have watched. Hope that doesn't detract from a potential season 3.) 4/5

My Hero Academia 3rd Season episode 51 Ah they're finally covering the dorm stuff, I have fond memories of reading this a while back.

Persona 5 The Animation episode 13 Covering Yusuke's confidants route. Still as bland an adaptation as usual unfortunately.

More Doctor Who Season 12 documentaries. The Tom Baker interview was a real joy to watch.

Adventure Time Season Two (Rewatch) episodes 13-26

Adventure Time Season Three (Rewatch) episodes 1-16

Real Girl episode 9

My Hero Academia Season 3 episode 13

Darling in the Franxx episode 23 - Here comes the Gainax/Trigger style ending

Gun Gale Online episode 12 - Studio 3Hz have done a really good job on this series. The occasional jabs at SAO were fun to see and the direction and characters have made this another one of my favourites from this season. Hoping for a season 2 for this one. 9/10

Considering how I've got around 8 series to watch next season I'll probably pick up the original SAO series to understand why it's got such a divided perception.

No Game No Life - Rewatch

Episodes 5-8
Will finish hopefully today

-------

Considering rewatching Hand Shakers next as I'd like to take it off my Dropped list (I did finish it, but I need a rewatch before giving it a fair rating)

The next-door neighbor couple dropped in last night around 10 pm, we drank quite a few beers and watched more Jormundgand, Eps 6-10, up on the big 120" screen in my theater, with the surround system cranked up and the buttkickers in my sofa doing overtime during the shooting, explosions, and battles! With both of them being in the military, they are really getting a kick out of this series, pretty much bouncing and dancing around in their seats to the OP and soundtrack, and doing a lot of yelling and fist-pumping during the episodes, lol. I think they're loving this series even more than they did Black Lagoon - and they were totally into that one when I showed it to them earlier this year. They said they are going to try to come back again this evening to watch more episodes, so I'll be looking forward to more fun and excitement tonight. Now this is the way to watch anime! :D

Samurai Champloo ep1-2
Been interested in seeing this one for a very long time, but the opportunity has never come my way until now. It has a great first episode, that really sold me on both the classic chanbara b-picture setup (on the toss of a coin, two swordsmen postpone their duel in order to help a young woman) and the anachronistic hip-hop aesthetic, but the second ep felt more routine and suffered noticeably in the animation department. I’ll definitely stick with it, but strangely, something that’s always stuck with me, from early in my anime watching career, is one of my friends casually dismissing the show with little more than ‘yeah, it’s not that good’. We’ll see.

Cleopatra (Japanese audio) - Film

So I just watched the second Animerama film Cleopatra. It's even more bizarre and random compared to 1001 Nights, but suffers quite a lot on the pacing and story. It even has random pop-culture references which didn't fit the film at all in my opinion.

Overall I would say Belladonna of Sadness is still the best of the three, with 1001 Nights second and Cleopatra last. For those wondering the first two Animerama does have sex scenes but they're mainly experimental visuals so I wouldn't classify under the 'hentai' banner like MAL states it as.

Adventure Time Season Three (Rewatch) episodes 17-26

Adventure Time Season Four (Rewatch)
episodes 1-20

I want to avoid talking about a thin line with classifications, but I'd say it's all about context. is it designed around a plot or just something specific for the viewer? what are the scenes like and stuff like that. then again with different opinions people will class something however they like

Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan (Sub) Episode 7
Fun time at the Pool.

Gegege no Kitarou 2018 (Sub) Episode 14

Hanebado! (Sub) Episode 1
Not a bad first episode. To much "emphasis" on the fanservice at the start though instead of the plot IMO, could have been better.

ISLAND (Sub) Episode 1
Intriguing first episode. It will be interesting to see how the whole time travel concept is explained and how Setsuna is connected to the girls in the future.🤔 Hmmm.

The idea of the trilogy was to be focused towards an adult audience. The first two (1001 Nights and Cleopatra) are essentially comedy ecchi films and there are scenes with naked girls here which are pretty basic designs, and the experimental sex scenes are rather complex but very well-drawn and I guess psychedelic is the best way to describe it. The third film Belladonna of Sadness took a more serious approach since the animation studio went bankrupt and used a very different and unique artstyle which worked really well. Props to the music composer as each of these films do have some pretty good music.

Each film does have a plot but Cleopatra's was the weakest since it was all over the place.

Of course I'm not the best reviewer out there (and I probably missed the point you were asking) but these are just my thoughts. Heck if you haven't seen them before, here's some trailers to get an idea on what they each are (NSFW):

great trailers, I do feel like the first two would have the comedy affect the narrative, but belladonna seems like the one I'd most likely watch and well the acid kicked in, which is weird because I haven't dropped any.
ain't AL getting them all?

Real Girl episodes 10-12 - The first few episodes actually looked promising but the second half really went downhill. Animation quality got so noticeably bad as well the story feeling more repetitive as the series progressed. Hopefully the second season actually has some kind of budget next time. 6/10

Flip Flappers episodes 7-9 - The yuri is heavy with this one. Nice Gurren Lagann reference.
