Najica Blitz Tactics - eps 1-3

Think this manages the rare feat of trumping even Strike Witches when it comes to largest number of intentional panty shots within one show. Like seriously, the angles are bonkers!

On one level, it's all pretty lame - like a poor man's Noir - but equally, there's something ludicrously funny about how OTT it all is, right down to the opening fight scene where a load of maids get gunned down (with not a drop of blood in sight)

Also, Monica Rial does a great job as Lila.

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya s1 ep1-7 (rewatch). Watching this again (in chronological order) to get in the mood for the Nagato anime.

Ronja, the Robber's Daughter ep26 (complete). A good anime for kids, but not exceptional.

Yowamushi Pedal: Grande Road s2 ep24 (complete). It's surprisingly emotional to see a year-long anime end.

A lot of Gundam is out in Japan on BD, but not with English subs (also weirdly in Italy and much better value, if you know Italian). I'm guessing Orgun is one of the clever ones who knows Japanese.

Love Hina episodes 1-3. really don't like that brunette girl with the fringe and the sword. she annoyed the poo out of me in that episode. I love the indian girl. She reminds me of Ed from bebop hehe.

Awe, name twin! She was my favourite.

Incoming spoilers for the end of the show, don't read until you finish Sword girl was originally intended to end up with the MC, till stuff happened and they went the generic route. Lucky you :p

The thing I always remember about Love Hina is the hole in the ceiling/floor - such a simple concept but scope for so many gags.

Danielle, have you seen Negima? If you like Love Hina, you'll probably like that too, it's written by the same guy.

No not that clever, I have a set of raws of the Japanese BDs and just overlay the subtitle track from the US DVDs onto them.
