Your anime collection within few years

I included lots of Billy shelves in my room design when we moved a few years ago since the piles were getting silly.
I'm now building up piles again...

I've got a Billy downstairs, nice and robust and deep enough to double things up, unlike my 2 bookcases upstairs.

Space is definately a real concern for me now

This thread has just sent me off to Play.com to order some quad and six-way DVD cases.

When I got my first PC, I installed Stacker to compress my hard drive, because hard drives were expensive, and compressing data saved space.

Now I see that I have to do the same for my DVD shelves... It's time for some hand lettered spines...

I get rid of stuff I don't expect to watch or read again, which helps me keep my collection to a manageable size. Still, I do accumulate stuff quicker than I show it the door, so chances are the collection will reach critical mass sooner or later. Anyone else think about what'll happen to their swag once they shuffle off this mortal coil? Probably just me.

Just the other day I was contemplating my own mortality (as you do) and came to the conclusion that I should probably at the very least employ some sort of system that automatically wipes my hard drives when I no longer have a pulse. Or I could just write a comedy will leaving all my pornography to the local nunnery.

Physical stuff, yeah. I realised how much of a weight it had all become (both physically and mentally) when I started considering sodding off abroad for a while if I can't find a job. It's like it wouldn't be possible to sell it fast enough, I'd have to stay here for about two years until it had all gone or just torch it.

Just pile them of the floor
The cases on the bottom eventually start distorting.
They also inevitably start leaning, which makes the warping worse.
DVD cases are also pretty slippery, although not as slippery as CD cases, so have a habit of ejecting themselves from the middle of the pile once it starts leaning.
