Its wierd everyone I know says there xbox has messed up one time or another but I have had know problems at all

There is problems with the 360 yeah, like overheating and the fact that if you move the console while a game is in it..it can damage the game(i know that one). Also i did hear from some that it gives up the ghost after a year or so, but mines working fine after a year of having it(a year this month)

Not really...I never heard about hundreds of Gamecubes or Playstations all dying in unison...maybe because they were actually made properly. :wink:

i beg to differ, gamecubes don't break thats true but many PS2's had the horrible disc "read error problem" including mine and almost everyone i know that has/had one.

I've had it for DVDs, was gutted when I wanted to watch some anime and didn't have a DVD player back then. </3

My xbox just broke just got a PS3 as well. Cannot afford another xbox right now, ringing up microsoft.

But at least my PS2 lasted about five years before it totally kicked the bucket...unlike the 360 which lasted six months. :?

Have you seen all the stuff you can get to make your xbox 360 function properly. They should have given you the stuff in the 1st place

True i guess i assumed you meant the PS2 so you are right the PS1 was a fairly reliable console although some people had laser problems and had to turn the console upsidedown to play anything.

My PS2 lasted about a year before it started the intensly anoying disc read error.

are you refering to the intercooler and fan things you can buy becasue i heard that those actually make things worse :shock:.
