I'm not quite sure what my issue is with it myself, but I certainly would have an aversion to going there.

Maybe I just take issue with the concept of sex/nudity being sold, but I'm not sure that really fits.

Yeah, some form of geek dating site or just general place to meet would be a pretty awesome thing to have. There's probably a few around, but I bet they're all US only or something.

Always thought that conventions and the likes were these palces... Anwyay, that doesn't work for me, so yeah I'm doing it wrong.

You cannot read a person's profile to see if they are single, looking for a man/woman/couple/etc, what their interests are and so on when you meet them in person for the first time. That is why you need a website with a person's profile to browse. This is also a more comfortable approach for shy people, who while shy in person may be able to open up more to strangers when typing emails or in a chatroom.

All in all, we need a geek dating/sex/relationship site. ^_^
