i think gantz iv read a few more pages after the anime ended and i think the series would of went well if they continued the anime,
the mangas great but i continuing making the anime would of been a good move.

i know the filler wasn't as good but the anime is awesome.

LNs rather than manga, but Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu is my most recent big addition to this category. Horizon will go in there once they don't finish it.

Also Banner of the Stars.

Would definitely be good to see more Banner.
Spice and Wolf as an obvious suggestion if we are adding LNs and wouldn't mind more FMP! Also a reboot of Rosario and Vampire that actually follows the manga past the first few chapters.

These are the ones that come quickest to mind.

Black Cat.

Personally, I love the manga. The anime? Not so much. They tried to condense a 20-volume manga into 20 episodes (the last 4 are an original ending), so a lot was cut out. For example, pretty much the entirety of the final arc except for Train vs Creed is cut.

I'd like to have seen Guyver continued on. The series only lasted 26 episodes but so much more had been written, so the anime feels incomplete.

i cant believe i forgot guyver, yeah guyvers a brilliant series, some people say its old fashioned but i still like it

I'd like to add one that I'm glad didn't: Trigun. THe maximum storyline just got more and more convoluted and silly (and not in a good way) and the ending was stupid frankly, I feel the anime was a superior adaptation and I'm glad it ended where it did.

^ I kinda agree with ya i hear the manga got more serious and the anime was had that silly funny that i enjoyed.

but i would of liked to see the anime continued up to the end of the manga seeing that i like trigun

Would have to say Fmp most of all as they really cut
at a bad point with so many questions to answer the spice and wolf as that just is too awesome to leave unfinished

Remake FMA again and make it not **** for desperate "fans" of the manga.
Another? They've already done an original ending (2003) and a more faithful adaptation of the manga (2009), what else could they do?

Reading the manga, the anime adaptation was pretty faithful, only the odd, slight things with no significance whatsoever were left out or changed. Biggest I can recall is the final episode being scaled down (but that was more than likely made when only rough drafts of the original chapters were available).

That 3x3 Eyes never got a TV adaptation is an outrage. Although seeing how Yuzo Takada's Blue Seed turned out makes me wonder if it was a blessing in disguise...

There are no words...:p

Your misguided lack of appreciation for Blue Seed aside, I know my other half would have appreciated a 3x3 Eyes TV series too. It was pretty popular at one point and did get a fair number of projects, so it's strange that it still has never been picked up for TV.

I would personally like to see more Moribito, with the stories from the later books given TV series of the same quality as the first one. 12 Kingdoms would be an automatic nomination too if it wasn't for the fact that I believe the novel series is still unfinished and I'd rage even more if it got resumed then stopped again.

On reboots, Blade of the Immortal badly needs one, this time with a full retelling including all of the crazy characters, and a massive action budget.

I would have said Hunter x Hunter but I am enjoying the current remake, be it quite cut down...

Other than that I would say:
Claymore (without the rather random ending...)
Negima (where is follows even a fraction of the storyline...) (Maybe add Love Hina to that too)
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi

I can think of a few more, like berserk, but I might be here forever listing them and complaining about the current anime adaptations so I will leave it at those few.

I concur. They should have continued with the story.

I would have preferred if they just ended it at the end part of the story and left it open for a second series. Saying that I still thought the Anime was great.

I would like the next series of Full Metal Panic too... and defiantly not a live action film..
