Well, My other half doesn't mind me watching Anime when she's about...i'm yet to sit her down and marathon something.

As for her viewing habits....their unbearable!! watching home and away?! Now i watch corrie, emmerdale and eastenders.....and she only likes corrie. So a few times...i've had to guard the remote to save my sanity :p both watch hollyoaks so its okay :)

Filmwise we both watch some films. she doesn't mind sitting through action or guyish films with guns, blood and destruction. when it comes to horror she likes it but doesn't at the same time (hides behind and hugs cushions whilst sat or against me) and loves mamma mia (which i drew the line at and went out of the room, leaving her to watch the film with a big beaming smile on her face)

Its a mix and match....we each do things together and also apart. works out well :)

**** i hate the soaps, brendan watches all of them. But i put a ban on emmerdale... it's just too bad.

We both pretty much watch the same shiz. Although he cant watch anything gory.

He doesnt mind anime either. I started him off with grave of the fireflies which is always a good choice for anime noobs. But he can't watch the sci fi stuff really.

I'm a total tribal wars widow at the moment... as soon as he gets home from work he starts playing that ******* game... has any1 else played it?
 
The cake isn't a lie Tachi, I don't know who told you that. All that I ask is that you perform a few tasks for me before hand. :twisted:

@skikes: Sarah is not an anime fan to say the least. She will watch Ghibli films with me coz she thinks their very Disney like (don't worry, I spoke to herabout it). Besides them however, she won't watch anything. She hates subs too!! Which is just wrong. Believe me whan I say that I've tried to get her to watch anime many many times. I did get her to watch FMA actually. She thought it was ok (could be worse).
Put it this way, we're not together for our intrests. I think it's mainley coz I make her laugh. ^_^
She is a psychologists after all... maybe I just entertain her in a life subject kind of way. O_O

My gf is going down the psychologist path herself... should be interesting...given that i know alot about psychology myself.
And what tasks are these? (please no cleaning)

I hate soaps too! I think they are ridiculous to the point of not even being funny. Sarah does watch them when I'm not in the room like, but if I enter while it's on. She may find me fitting and foaming at the mouth. No joke!
 
lol well considering i spend most of my time in my room, sorting out my own things, with kayleigh or out with the lads i don't watch soaps all the time....its just when i'm called for dinner, i go downstairs and eat....its on so i'll watch it, then bugger off upstairs again :p

Although.....as she likes home and away, i've not seen a episode since i was a child so refuse to watch it, not even out of nostalgia!
 
look at my previous post....only watch em if their on when i come down for dinner ;) apart from that i spend alot of time on the ps3, watching films, or out.

and yeah....over the years pretty much everyone has slept with each other, half of them are killers, or corrupt.

If its broadcast to other countries then were just going to look like a country full of evil, money hungry, sad, inbreds.....cheers soaps :thumb:

Why is it for old people? What do you miss out on by being married?

My wife watches anime with me. Currently we are watching Ranma 1/2 together, & we're on season 6 disc 1. We also share interests in computer games, Asian movies, Asian music, & being daft. :D We're the perfect personality match for each other. :)
 
i'm kinda glad me and bren don't have the same interests... i think we would just sit at home and get fat... and be poor.

I dunno... marriage seems alien to me. i've never really known any1 close to me to get married. My parents were never even married. It gets complicated though explaining why my mum, my sisters, my dad and me all have different last names lol
 
I like being married too. My husband loves anime though he's more of a gamer (I game too quite a lot but the games are usually different). We watch anime over dinner each evening and borrow one another's manga.

We have to have our own computers and offices though, otherwise we'd drive one another mad.

I already doo. ;)

It's Sarah without her own room. But then again, the rest of her house is hers... my room is my personal retreat. Full of DVDs, posters and of course my PC and desk. XD
 
9 years for me. We split up last year, was hard as we had a house, car etc. together, but it was amicable and we managed to keep things on good terms. :)

I can see that it could be, but we were very different and really just not getting on at all any more so it's one of those things where it's hard, but you know it's for the best.
