Can't be forgetting the classic too.Halloween has gone so
HAPPY CHRISTMAS
Did you watch their livestream at the Troxy? Amazing 3 hour set from the legendary old timers. For any interested parties that may have missed it:First album in 16 years and first good one since 2000. I was convinced they'd never release this and then suddenly there it was. Miserable Cure is best.

As a big CD collector myself I find myself incredibly jealous of being able to get such a big haul.Went to Japan last month. Bought back, er.... one or two CDs, lol.
Here's my haul. 250 CDs, plus some music blu rays and DVDs. Almost all of them second hand, and the vast majority of those were no more than £2 or £3 each.
A big motivation for the holiday was specifically for this - to search for the albums that have meant so much to me over the years, and to find them for the best possible price.
Hopefully the photo resolution is high enough for you to zoom in on the spines and see what's going on. I've organised it roughly into genre, but I've split some genres into multiple columns so it all fits in one picture. Big mix of genres - pop, rock, visual kei, idol, indie, electronica, anime songs, and some western stuff too. Reply if you see any that you know and love!
Nice! What ones did you buy brand new on your last trip?As a big CD collector myself I find myself incredibly jealous of being able to get such a big haul.
I went to Japan back in like march and picked up a bunch brand new, around 20 maybe? Though I do most of the time just import the ones I want 2nd hand anyways so there wasn't too many on my wishlist for that trip I didn't already have.
Some awesome picks in there btw.

That's a bloody impressive haul - did you have problems getting that through airport customs??Went to Japan last month. Bought back, er.... one or two CDs, lol.

No problems at customs. The total value is a very low four-figure number. If you exclude the ten new albums and the Yoasobi box sets, then many of the CDs only cost like £2 or £3, so it's all legit. I kept all the receipts just in case there were any questions though. That's a bloody impressive haul - did you have problems getting that through airport customs??
I'm clearly uninitiated as I only recognise Yoasobi with their amazing work on lots of recent animes (especially the recent monogatari which is just legendary) and Capsule from the Hikari Disco song used in the ed of I think the Knights of Sidonia movie
Good stuff, I'll look into those! Thanks for the recommendations. No problems at customs. The total value is a very low four-figure number. Yoasobi are so good!! I would have been delighted to find even just one of their special edition albums in the wild. To find all three, and also find the two blu ray live sets, is beyond anything I could have hoped for.
There's a few others in here that you might enjoy. If you like Yoasobi then look up Zutomayo. Super fun and upbeat, with gorgeous anime music videos that reward repeat viewings. Try this one.
And look up Official Hige Dandism, who you'll probably recognise from a few anime soundtracks. Try this one.
Oh wow no way!! I must have got very lucky. I suppose nowadays they're more used to nerds coming over and buying boatloads of merch. Lol they probably see suitcases packed full of nonsense all the time.Good stuff, I'll look into those! Thanks for the recommendations.
Glad it was all straightforward travelling with your haul - I remember when at uni (another lifetime ago heh) travelling abroad to parents with my PS2 and lots of dvds+games and having security unpacking and going through all my suitcases - they were probably thinking I was hauling fake dvds to sell on the streets
