What is the most graphic anime you've watched?

I have volumes two and four of Elfen Lied in my drawer on account of a dirt cheap eBay deal... but it sounds like i'll need a sofa to hide behind first... Is it reeaally that bad?

I'm really tempted to watch Violence Jack now.

Me too. I was hoping Elfen Lied wasn't the worst anime had to offer; it's not that bad at all.

Violence Jack's got rape, pillage, mutilation, cannibalism, and child murder. Lots of fun. Make sure to watch the uncut OVAs, though, not Manga's castrated version which removes most of the good bits.
