In the post today I got Takarazuka Plays Disney CD. I'm supposed to be saving up for a convention next month but I had to buy it for myself because it's brilliant.

On Sunday I got: 2 Final Fantasy figures (a mini Tidus with accessories and extra faces and a mini Aeris with accessories and extra faces), Bleach playing cards and a random Naruto mini box with a Kakashi figure inside. They were in a prize bag from a competition.

So this has been a pretty awesome few days for new things :D

I received a Royal Mail notice saying my items are at the local delivery store. Predictable since the Madoka volumes went there once.

And a funny note, I managed to verify my existence on Rightstuf and at first they were curious about the address on my ID (because it's my home address and I'm ordering to my accommodation address) and asked for some more proof, and so I did a screenshot of my Amazon address list and some letters/receipts of my bank and UP1 purchases. In the end they understood the issue and they will be dispatching Tenchi Muyo OVA LE, huzzah!...

..except I have to do it again when I change addresses and credit card details which is mostly like going to happen again this summer (sigh).

The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan vol 5. I've never seen a manga (or book of any kind) with shrinkwrap before, maybe Yen Press will be doing this with all their releases from now on. No idea why they feel it's necessary though.

It's fairly common with 18+ titles (although I wouldn't think that would be) Most BL manga is shrinkwrapped, and I'm sure I've seen volumes of the Spice and Wolf manga with it too. I think it used to be more common though, as Viz have been releasing some 18+ josei titles recently and I haven't seen any of them be shrinkwrapped, but some of my brand new volumes of Sensual Phrase are.

Got a replacement power brick (or whatever it's called) for my Xbox 360.

I suppose it makes sense for more 'adult' titles, which makes me wonder what in this volume of Nagato could be so questionable  . I do hope they don't do it with future volumes though as it was a bit too tight and crushed the book a little leaving the pages looking wrinkled. I've got it under a pile of hardbacks trying to flatten it

All of KoreZombie's volumes have been shrinkwrapped, but they do have a big 'Explicit Content' label on the front so perhaps that's understandable. Gotta say that from the little I've read of Disappearance of Nagato, I really do wonder what could occur to necessitate shrinkwrap, it didn't seem like the story was heading towards any kind of explicit stuff!
