I've never owned any Xbox so no personal experience, but according to Digital Foundry, if you have one of the newer consoles, Final Fantasy XIII and its sequels look and run better there than they do on either the Xbox 360 or PS3, because they got various enhancements via backwards compatibility. Here are a couple of videos about it:

#9: Falling Down, Swordfish & To Live and Die in L.A.

My Rarewaves package finally arrives as they generally take a few weeks with untracked shipping. What we have here are a few films that have been on my radar and were available to order for a pretty decent price on their storefront.

Joel Schumacher's 1993 film Falling Down starring Michael Douglas (The Game), Robert Duvall (Apocalypse Now), Barbara Hershey (Black Swan), Rachel Ticotin (Total Recall) and Tuesday Weld (Thief). I first recognised this film from the Foo Fighters music video of Run years back.

Dominic Sena's 2001 film Swordfish starring John Travolta (Carrie), Hugh Jackman (X-Men), Halle Berry (Crime 101), Don Cheadle (Oceans Eleven) and Vinnie Jones (Survive Style 5+). This film looked like a lot of fun to watch despite its reception.

William Friedkin's 1985 film To Live and Die in L.A. starring William L. Petersen (Thief), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse), John Pankow (Bride Wars), Debra Feuer (Night Angel) and John Turturro (The Batman). Heard a lot of positive reception for this film so I figured I'll own it sooner than later.

#10: Marvel: Ultimate Alliance & Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2

I've been rewatching the Marvel films as well as playing Marvel Tokon and it's gotten me interested in more of the Marvel video games. Now I won't go crazy for most of the low budget games released over the years but there was a series that I wanted to check out for years but never gotten around to it and that was Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

The first game released at launch for Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 3 and even though it was remastered for PlayStation 4 that version was delisted due to Activision's license expired, I wanted to own the game so I went back to the PlayStation 3 release. For those unaware it's an action game featuring a variety of Marvel Comics characters including Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, Wolverine and more, though a good number of characters were exclusive to the Xbox 360 Gold Edition and remasters. Soldier of Fortune & X-Men Legends developer Raven Software worked on this game.

I also picked up the second game Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 though my copy doesn't come with a manual. This game was developed by Vicarious Visions instead. Both games I ordered from CeX since I had vouchers to save money.

#11: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM

It's been two years since we last saw a new release from Anime Limited on the Gundam franchise (last one being the Mobile Suit Gundam Movie Trilogy 4K Ultra HD release) and now we have Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM also on 4K Ultra HD. This is also a combo pack and includes the English dub on both formats.

FMP IV is still available on the Anime Limited webstore and will probably be included in the bogof section in next months sale. Unfortunately the CE that includes the audio drama of the 5th novel is oop.

The physical PS5 version of Little kitty, big city was delayed until September, but I had seen that Amazon was selling the harvest moon The lost valley/Skytree Village collectors edition for less then the standard edition I just said "shut up and take my money".

The wireless keyboard is just to avoid having the use the PS5s software keyboard in certain games.

Here they are next to volumes 1 and 2 of the Chuang Yi, which bizarrely kept the original title mistake despite being published after ADV.

Brought Choujin X Volume 12, Baki Volume 2 and #DRCL Volume 6. DRCL has been my favourite ongoing series so every new volume is a big deal for me.

I’ve committed very heavily to comics lately. I’d like to spend some time completely reorganising my shelf but the weekend has been chaotic. Got a collection of Flash Gordon, The Secret Files of Dr Drew, Terminal City, The Seeds, Hellboy Universe: Secret Histories, Abe Sapien The Drowning and Other Stories and Batman: The Dark Knigjt Returns.
