What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

From SciFier, I picked up a couple of light novels for my Shinkai collection that I've been missing: Voices of a Distant Star: Words of Love / Across the Stars and The Place Promised in Our Early Days

Also for the Shinkai collection is Masayoshi Yamazaki / One more time, One more chance Byosoku 5cm Special Edition CD. This is only 3 tracks, but it includes the various versions of the song 'One more time, One more chance', which aren't on the UK CD.

This was my first order from CDJapan (and I think my first order from Japan) and you could tell it was from Japan, given the care taken in the packaging for a simple singular CD. Very pleased with the service and will be going back in future to buy some more music.

This Mazinger release is from 2018, so it was setting off my imminent FOMO alarm. I must have had some residual FOMO in my bloodstream when I added the second season of Nanoha to the order, despite it being a recent release and me not knowing if I'll like the show yet. With Discotek it feels like no release is new enough for it to be free from the risk of abruptly going out of print though.

@Titan say goodbye to any type of social life for the foreseeable future now that you've gone down the rabbit hole of The Legend of Heroes series 🤣

You just need to get Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure to complete what's been released so far.

Trails in the Sky is being remade and the first part should be released sometime this year.

2025 HAUL - MARCH v2

Just one package that arrived today.

Radiance - The Cat 1.jpg
Radiance - The Man from Majorca 1.jpg
Radiance - A Man On His Knees 1.jpg
Radiance - Mississippi Mermaid 1.jpg
Radiance - Nomad & My Heart is That Eternal Rose 1.jpg
Radiance - Yokohama BJ Blues 1.jpg

For the past few months I've had a fair amount of gift card funds for Amazon thanks to work and I figured it was time to finally use them all up and for that I put it towards a Radiance Films haul consisting of six releases. One from each region!

In alphabetical order we have Dominik Graf's 1988 German film The Cat (Die Katze), Bo Widerberg's 1984 Swedish film The Man from Majorca (Mannen från Mallorca), Damiano Damiani's 1979 Italian film A Man on His Knees (Un uomo in ginocchio), François Truffaut's 1969 French film Mississippi Mermaid (La Sirène du Mississipi), Patrick Tam's 1982-89 Cantonese films Nomad (烈火青春) & My Heart is That Eternal Rose (殺手蝴蝶夢), and Eiichi Kudo's 1981 Japanese film Yokohama BJ Blues (ヨコハマBJブルース).

A very nice selection - Radiance haven’t disappointed for the most part so far with the titles they’ve released - I still have quite a few to watch but the subscription has been well worth it.

It's ok, I don't have much of a social life anyway. 🤣 And I thought since Trails in the Sky is getting remade, now is the time to get the other games in the series.

If I ever go missing from this forum for long periods, you'll know what's happened to me. 🤣

Been looking for them on Ebay, but the cheapest I can find for PS4 copies new is £48 each. Will keep looking.

Yup, really looking forward to it. I think I played through the original on psp about 5 times.

A few things from the week.

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered (PS5)

After missing out on this originally, I fortunately got it through a recent re-print from Video Games Plus, marking my first order with them and it arrived pretty quick as well.

This Rengoku figure I found for £15.00 in B&M which I couldn't pass up, especially considering he's my favourite character from the series.

They also had Tengen and Zenitsu, I may possibly get Tengen when I visit there next if it's in-stock still.

Note: The photo and lighting doesn't do the figure justice, I also forgot to remove the plastic protecting his sword as well in the pic.
