What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I can confirm too that Attack on Titan is region locked to A and 1. Something must have happened between the June line-up announcement and the launch date. I'm curious to see how Madman are able to release it two weeks after the US launch (meanwhile Manga UK spends 3 months making a PAL disc). Also, my digibook wasn't damaged but the DVD discs did fall out (not scratched).

Apologises for the quick close up on the inside pages, I didn't want to break the digibook with one hand.

I have my new debit card so once Date A Live is out I'll go and get that as well (like Maken-Ki! it will be A/1).

Thanks Gemsy-chan and NormanicGrav for the confirmation on Titan being A locked. Probably will get the Australian release.

With the UK version stripping 100 min extras onto a PAL DVD, having a FMA:B style cheap box with a blue banner that will obviously have more than 3 discs and only using half of the Notes Beyond the Wall artbook (since Part 2 will only be a standard edition as far as I know), you might as well get the Australian version.

Yep, that what I was thinking. Plus the Australian LE comes with those 4 pins and two necklaces. I assume Madman uses proper art boxes and not cheap flimsy boxes.

So that will be Manga Entertainment, stripping the extras off the Blu-ray, sticking them onto a DVD, and calling it a Collector's Edition.
Yup that's what I'm afraid of too.
I'm wondering whether this is legitimately a dick move or whether it's so they can save money by doing a BD50 and BD25, rather than two BD50s, thus allowing them to continue their trend of flogging crap off cheap. Funi's discs are like 45gb each, and without the extras disc two is about 23gb.

On an unrelated note, Funi seems to have gotten out of their "Let's only use half the disc space" phase for this release, and it reflects in the video quality. It's such a shame that they couldn't have done this for Psycho Pass.

June Collection Update #1 - OniAi - Complete Series: Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD

It does stand straight which is excellent. For a sub-only title, Funimation have at least given the show some treatment.

More pics are available on my blog unboxing post.

Okay, time for my June pick-ups. :)

I've taken four pictures for all four items together, to make it less pictures to browse through.

The four anime I've bought are:

Kaze no Stigma S.A.V.E Edition (Funimation)

Kimi ni Todoke Vol. 3 Standard Edition (NIS America)

Mushishi S.A.V.E Edition (Funimation)

Otoboku: Maidens Are Falling For Me (AnimeWorks Classics) (Media Blasters)

Photo Album: Click Here

I can confirm that Kimi ni Todoke Vol. 3 Standard Edition does work on a UK PS3, just like my Vol. 1 does. I guess that means Vol. 2 does as well (I have the Premium Edition of that).

Also I've ordered the Sentai Filmworks Blu-Ray release of Kokoro Connect (TV) and should get that in the next few weeks. I'll post images once I receive it.

I think I should step away from those Anime-Works/Media Blasters after looking at the disc art (laughs).

Nice to see some reversible art for the SAVE titles.

True, but the only reason I bought Otoboku was because it was £8.50. :p

Does that Mushishi works on region 2? cause some save edition do. Does it says region 2 on the disc/cover?

Unfortunately, it only states Region one on the disc/cover. I tried it in my UK Xbox 360 and it says incorrect region, so I think it's locked to Region 1.

Like the Mario Kart steelbook. You actually got a V for Vendetta steelbook undamaged. Loads over on avforums got damaged ones, ranging from scratches to completely annihilated. Mine has a small scratch on the front on the boarder. Didn't try for a replacement this time, especially after what everyone else has had. Managed to get a 10% refund due to the scratch.
