I had already figured out I was getting this DOTW in 2014 when it became DOTW in 2013. xD (I plan ahead, sometimes way ahead)

I hate it when the mail is slow, it causes stress to me and that ain't fun. That's for sure.

Also, it feels weird to hear somebody say "looking forward to it" to my initial message (not that I mind, it just feels weird).
I feel like an ant among all these people with loads of acquisitions. >_< I wish I wasn't cursed (people who read my posts in the past know what I'm talking about). >_<
 
For god sake Funimation stop screwing up the shape of the artboxes, you've done this to Robotics;Notes, Psycho Pass, Eureka Seven and now this (I'll be really pissed if Attack on Titan ends up like this). What's even worse is that I don't have a slip-cover for Part 1 of Fairy Tail so it's going to look odd on the shelf. End Rant.

what was the problem with the Haganai NEXT box? It looks pretty normal in the photo. I was planning on ordering this and the first season if it isn't announced by a UK company soon (ie. Q3 or Q4 2014) Its out on Blu ray in Australia soon so there's no reason not too, can they not see how many people are importing it so the demand is there but if they wait too long every one will have already got it!!
 
If only Urusei Yatsura would receive this treatment. A man can dream, right? (I'm not sure if anyone posted pics of this; I went back a few pages and saw nuthin'.)

Just a minor issue though but basically the artbox is slightly tilted to the right (like the UK BD release of Durarara!!), probably I'm just unlucky. If you really want to get the series (especially the LE) then I suggest you get it now.
 
Got these today in the post. I already had the dvds but decided to upgrade to BD. They are worth it. Fate Zero CE should arrive tomorrow I hope.

Ah as much as i'd like to support the UK industry it doesn't seem like they'll be releasing it anytime soon, i'll give it until MCM, then i'll order from america :)

Indeed. That does look quite lovely, I never got into Ranma but this release might tempt me. I could do with something to lure me back into anime full stop, as I find myself just re-watching old favourites rather than trying anything new. My enthusiasm seems to have waned.

But in on topic news, no matter what hobbies I pursue I will clearly never be free of inconsistent spines.

Why hello there ayase-chan. Tough break on those spines. You'll be totally surprised to hear that those latest Ghibli Blu-rays continue the trend of inconsistent spine design, as if Studio Canal just make it up as they go along. Just as well I kept my DVDs...

I never got into Ranma myself. I read a bit of the manga long ago but it lacked that delirious insanity that made me fall head over heels for UY. The Blu-ray set seemed like as a good an opportunity as any to give it another try.

More than the packaging, I'd love to see UY with the kind of video transfer Ranma's been blessed with. It's glorious.

Good friend of mine bought me a copy of the Wolf Children manga (after me having seen the thing in Waterstones and Forbidden Planet, not being able to afford it, and going on about how nice it was.....). About halfway through it and so far it's more than living up to how great the film is, although the quality of the paper used for the non-colour pages feels a little iffy to me. Brilliant release otherwise though :)
