I finally received the AL Exclusive release of Kiznaiver over here in the US yesterday - Thankfully, it arrived totally undamaged.

Been going through some more hauls this time focusing on the PlayStation 4 once again. I guess I could call this 'Operation PlayStation 4 Haul' but basically I'm getting select games now and then more later down the line.

Earlier this month I acquired .hack//G.U. Last Recode and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and today I received Zero Escape: The Nonary Games and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma for PlayStation 4. You may have noticed that these are the North American versions. Both games have been released in Europe physically however Aksys Games barely make them available so the stock levels are ridiculously low and pretty expensive to get so I decided to get the US versions that were available on Amazon UK for £24.98 each.

For those who don't know, Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is considered to be one of the best visual novels ever released (with Zero Time Dilemma being pretty mixed in reception) and I can't wait to finally check them out.

Did you think it was over? Think again. Jokes aside, this is more of a leftover haul since I did initially plan to get these earlier in the week.

Starting off with Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner M∀RS on PlayStation 4. I liked this game so I was very surprised that Konami decided to release a physical version for the re-remaster. This version was developed by Cygames and has been completely revamped compared to the HD Collection which had issues (thanks to High Voltage Software). The M∀RS version offers 4K resolution, 60 frames per second and also optional VR support. My copy does include the slipcover and it's SRP £24.99 it seems.

Next we have Momotaro Sacred Sailors from Anime Limited on Blu-ray & DVD combo pack. Been meaning to pick this one up but I decided to get it now from HMV for £22.99. The set has some minor damage but I'm not that fussed about it. It's got a length 120+ page booklet about the film which is neat. The reason why I have been buying anime from HMV is because PureHMV owners get double points on Blu-ray (and also on Ultra HD Blu-ray and Vinyl).

And lastly we have Afro Samurai and Lollipop Chainsaw on PlayStation 3. Both were planned early on but I wanted to play it safe and have my ID just in case. They didn't ask for it in the end but better to play it safe than nothing. These two games have been on my list of games to pickup so there is only a couple left now for the console.

It's finally there, my 400USD Hyouka box!
(403.8 to be precise, about 70 of which are import fees of which 32 were custom handling fees from the postal service.)

It's obscenely huge!!!

And fairly heavy, the whole package with package material was almost 5kg.
Also the volumes came separate to the green box. The customs guy must have been very puzzled over those two unlabeled little boxes. (One was opened.)

The artbook turned out to be a bit of a big cheat though. 46 pages were all the illustrations the Japanese single volume BD and DVD releases and their artboxes held, which I was mostly after, so that's very cool as I have no need to get the show 3 more times from Japan for the packaging art. But the other
113 pages of the 150 were just a selection of screenshots and chapter title pages. I had hoped for some more key illustrations. Especially since the digipack volumes already duplicate half of those illustrations. =/
(Also looks a bit diffrent than the preview image. The backside is now just white and the front holds the whole illustration. I think I prefer that over that zoomed partial cut of the same image as show in the preview image.)
