It's the UK edition - I got it from an amazon UK marketplace seller for £35. There's one on there at the moment for £40 although I can't vouch for the seller and the disks are described good condition with light surface marks.

edit: I think the UK version is identical aside from the wrap around brown bit with BBFC logo's?

I've got the US version and looks the same as yours except for the BBFC logo on the slip card wrap around. Didn't even know there was a UK version of the set, only one I knew about was the Manga release.

I've just kicked off disk one - in my multi-region player which is currently set to A. My guess is the disks are region free and identical to the US release too.

Basically the UK, French, American and Japanese versions are the exact same. It was a collaboration between Honneamise, Bandai and Beez. Other titles that had this treatment were Gunbuster vs Diebuster: Aim for the Top! GATTAI!! and Royal Space Force: Wings of Honneamise.

I own the US version of GvD and it's got the BBFC on the disc which is funny.

Particularly pleased with this given how rare it's become - picked it up for £26.17 from all_your_music on amazon UK about 10 minutes after it went up for sale.
 
My point was he obviously bought it for collection reasons so telling him it's available on CR for free serves no purpose.

But I like Persona... and I like Aniplex...

If I give Aniplex more money then hopefully they'll stay around and keep releasing BDs. They're just about the only company that I can confidently buy a title from without having to worry about A/V issues at all. I don't want the next big Aniplex IP to get a botched, sub-par release by the usual western distributors.
 
Hmmm... is sailor moon a typical chipboard set? Is it Blu-Ray size? Is the blue band at the top permanent? Have Viz done others - I think K was one wasn't it...?
