What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Just to be on the safe side? ;)
the running joke in the show tickled my funny bone

My Asumi-chan arrived today. It's rather sweet.
As I'll get my Rightstuf order sometime after my first pension, I treated myself to a visit to HMV.
They only had the DVD of Sakra. It is £5 less than the Blu-ray so all good.
Dragon Ball's got a movie on it as an extra so that's nice.

Seems like you buy or import about 20 Blu-rays per week, bzg! :p

I really like Blast of Tempest, it's one of my favorite Aniplex titles, I wish we would have gotten the Blu-rays with subtitles over here in the west, or the Japanese sets had subtitles. I do have the AoA DVDs, and a 1080p download with subtitles.
Not as much as I did before, though I've been leaning more towards importing due to how much Funiroll have slowed down on their offerings.

Blast of Tempest is definitely one of those shows that I wish had an AoA BD release as well. It's not that difficult to mux in English subs so it was an easy choice for me to grab these when I saw them at a very reasonable price (for JP BD sets)

Birdie Wing actually cost me more, which is a show that might be right up your alley GwG. Girls playing golf, a lot more fun than it sounds!

Just got my One Piece Collector's Edition 4K as well, good way to start the weekend. ;)

Only problem is that I hear you need to be around episodes 700-750 to watch it, so have another 100 episodes or so to go... :D

I'm only 91 episodes in and got the movie tbh, didn't feel to lost, especially if you watch the tie in episodes beforehand... I really need to watch more One Piece, I do enjoy it a lot.

Double post for today, finally got a set I have been after for for ages, my beloved Haruhi. Got a great deal on ebay, with it being just under £100.00, the movie I had to get separately as it wasn't included in this set but real happy I finally own it all on blu-ray.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Ultimate Collector's Edition) (BD) and The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (BD / DVD)

XC 3 is from when it dropped to £24 on Amazon. I was pretty shocked Mario Bros was in the HMV 2 for £25 deal so picked it up and will give it to my brother when the 4K drops in price.
Picked Renfield too as I enjoyed it and its the slipped edition which is like gold dust as with most new Universal releases!

Congrats🔥🍻
Was originally gonna upgrade my standards for that set, but due to space issues as well other personal reasons, I decided to keep my standards.

Hope you will enjoy.

This month is looking like it'll have a big focus on pre-orders finally being shipped out, starting with One Piece Film: Red from Anime Limited. Still surreal to see Toei hand over their latest One Piece film over to a different distributor in the UK but also allowing them to release it on 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Atmos and Vision HDR support.

What's even wilder is that we also have 3 TV episodes on Blu-ray which in case you didn't realise the TV series is sticking to DVD only than going for the combo pack route that the US has. Now English dub has been listed in the specs for the US release, so the episodes are subtitled only for the UK (but you don't get that Crunchyroll English credit stuff at least).

Anyway, despite losing the dub for the episodes, I do think the 4K content makes up for it, especially considering this and the US release was only like 1 month apart, which is also pretty funny if you think about it. You can view more photos & specs on my blog.
