Resident Evil Revelations
Resident Evil Revelations 2

All for £40 on steam whats a very good price for a pretty solid collection of Resident Evil games

Bought via PSN Store
  • Arcade Archives: Ninja Gaiden
Despite 2 and 3 being on the PSN Store, the original isn't on the UK store so I had to buy it via the U.S. Store.

I just got a Western Digitial 10tb desktop outboard hdd to free up space on my internal hdds, I got it for less than $300 and that's darn good although it's intended for the uk market. The only difference between ones for the us and uk markets is the power supply and I have a ton of hdd power supplies that I've collected over the years so no problem. The us market drives were about $120 to $150 more than the uk one-I blame the damn AI boom for that.

Bought via PSN Store (PS3) (U.S.)
  • The Misadventures of Tron Bonne (PS)
  • Parasite Eve (PS)
  • Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (PS)
  • Fatal Frame (PS2)
  • Fatal Frame III: The Tormented (PS2)
  • Sonic the Fighters (PS3)
I'm going to buy a few games each month until the unfortunate closure of the store. I bought a number back when they were planning to shut it down the first time.

I did already buy Persona 2 and Sonic the Fighters but it's on an old U.S. account that I for the life of me can't get into, fortunately these were cheap and the only two games I had on that account. I used the new account I used the other week to buy Arcade Archives: Ninja Gaiden.

I skipped on Fatal Frame II as there is the remake available.

@Invisible Crane I like the keychain (no idea of who the character is)

Was the convention a good time?

The character on the keychain is King from the Disney animated series The Owl House - I've seen most of the first season and found it an engaging watch, though my understanding is they put the creator Dana Terrace under a lot of restrictions regarding LGBTQUIA+ themes and some other things and she was pretty upset about it, she has another series pilot on YouTube called Knights of Guinevere, it was far too violent for me and I didn't really like it but I am glad she can make what she actually wants with more creative control now :)

Of course disney is going to put restrictions like those in place but they're giant hypocrites because a lot of the films they release are rated R for sexuality, obscenity and language etc.

I dont recall hearing anything about restrictions on LGBTQ stuff, if that was the case Lumity would have never been a thing. Im assuming you think thats why TOH got its third season cut down. No it was due to Disney wanting to pivot away from story/lore driven shows and the ratings for season 2 were pretty low

Also I think Disney is okay with same sex couples now in their animated stuff with these as an example

Also as far as i know Dana was more mad at Disney for the aforementioned cutting down of season 3 (even encouraging people to pirate the show on social media). I don't think Lumity had anything to do with what the show went through

I decided to make purchases for two additional backup Blu-ray players, since available options seem to be slowly disappearing. I think these players will soon cease being manufactured except maybe for some of the higher end audiophile players. I have a fairly large collection of UK Region B Blu-ray sets, so I want to continue having access to playing them long-term here in US Region A territory. I currently own three Blu-ray players:

Oppo BDP-93 standard Blu-ray player, hardware modified for Region Free, mounted in my home theater room rack;
Oppo UDP-203 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player, hardware modified for Region Free, mounted in my home theater room rack;
Philips BDP1300, a low-end basic Blu-ray player connected to my 1080p Television in my living room.

I am adding these two Blu-ray players to my reserves:

Panasonic DMP-BD Region Free standard Blu-ray player (Hardware modified for Region Free by 220-Electronics)
Panasonic DP-UB450 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player (Top Menu bypass of Region lock)

I also have 5 PCs in my home with Blu-ray drives installed - 2 Windows 11 and 3 Windows 10 PCs, all capable of playing region free Blu-rays with Leawo Player installed. I suppose I should be OK for region free capabilities for a while now. 🤔
