To my knowledge, no-one has ever actually seen Wayne Hussey's eyes. I know I haven't and I've seen him live. Seeing as this is doing a pretty good job of being a Goth thread again as of late...

Xmal always sound to me like a German version of the early Banshees. To weave the web of band relationships ever tighter, Manuela Zwingman of Xmal was in the original line up of All About Eve, and there have been several personal and professional links between AAE and The Mission. The Mission originally consisted of one half of The Sisters of Mercy, who All About Eve guitarist Tim Bricheno later went on to join.

Well Wayne was going out with Julianne for a while as well. I always thought Michael Jackson was starting to look more and more like Von Eldritch.

The Mission are probably my favourite band. I saw Wayne on his solo stuff a couple of years ago hardly anyone turned up in Cardiff to see him though. He walked past me swigging from a bottle of red wine, and I did not recognise him at first with short hair. He must of had a couple of bottles before he got on stage, but he was still amazing even taking requests.

Wayne was in Dead Or Alive and Pauline Murray & The Invisible Girls as well as the Sister and The Mish.

It's not the official music music, but it goes well with the song. It's one of their new songs from theiir newest album, and it's very soft! I love the woman who sings in the chorus anyway, who ever she is.

When I first listened to it a couple of days ago I thought this album, In The Aeroplane Over The Sea, was completely overrated. Good, but still way overrated. 11 full listens in and my opinion has changed somewhat. Utter genius.
