Apologies for subconciously turning this thread into Nico Nico Douga chaos, but these videos are having an effect not unlike alcohol on me.

I want this software, it's like discovering the Amiga's speech synthesis for the first time, only a million times better. Man, I spent ages typing words into that until I found the most hilariously unnatural phrase it could say: "My tor-twoise eats lett-oose".

On the subject at hand, vocaloids are bad.. it's amazing how they are improving, but they could do better songs.

I'll have you know that my sense of fun is perfectly intact. Flourishing, even! I just have no tolerance for annoying voices. If you start posting Crazy Frog videos I'm going to bombard chaos with ban requests!
 
I resent that implication, I draw the line before the Crazy Frog. It's too tuneless to be amusing, it isn't even a song. I mean come on, "I am an octopus, wow wow, yeah yeah" is infinitely better than "bring ding diddley borm"...

Oh, I get it, I see what this is. You just have a phobia of disembodied heads, don't you? You don't like Octo-Luka or the song about Yukkuris, it's all too clear now!

I've been revisiting some of my old electro-industrial albums. I'm not so much into the genre these days, but the album from which this song is taken has stood the test of time. When I first heard it I was going through bad **** and the lyrics put into words what I couldn't.
