Cosplaying-And The Art Of It!!!

I was thinking of creating a topic on the subject of cosplaying.
I find that it can be just as important to see the dedication/devotion fans pour into creating or purchasing clothing to imitate there most favoured anime/manga character.

So really just post up as many images that you like as to what looks like a cool custom to you:

this can either be yourself, a friend or both
or anything that you find that is lerking on the internet

and it doesn’t matter what genre it is either, it can be anime, manga or video game related. And it doesn’t have to be images from the UK aswell

I love to cosplay especially at the con's, so far I have only cosplayed as Bass from DOA but at Minami Con I will be dressing as Bleach Captain Shunsui Kyouraku and Kuma from Afro Samurai, I will post pics when they are ready

I've seen some cool cosplay in my time. Here's a good example of some Gundam Wing cosplay. ^^

I've always believed that if your gonna dress up, you dress up properly. No half-arsed costumes for me.

Like I said. Don't do it half-arsed and this guy/gal definately didn't. I suspect you'd start getting a bit warm tho. Gotta say I love this cosplay. Sadley, I haven't actually been to an event that allowed me to dress up anime style. I have dressed up in some kick arse super hero costumes. I'll post them at some point.

I actually wouldn't mind giving Cosplay a go. I always thought it was quite scary but after watching Comic Party I have a different view of it. Though I have to agree with Voddas that if I do Cosplay I would Cosplay with a decent costume.

In a damp, falling apart house T.T
anyhow, I couldn't find any 'Japanese' houses nearby, (probly I should of tried Woking, o-well)

like I said, this is only a basic outline. I need to purchase a pastel shirt and/or tie, to get that authentic look.
