UK Dragon Ball or One Piece release

Nah it just stops after a couple weeks for a few months and will pop back on at some point.. They just use OP as a slot filler..

Really wish someone would air the dub uncut. If given the chance and advertised right im pretty sure OP would be a sucess over here. like majority of my friends dont like anime but will happily sit and watch South Park, Family Guy etc. If OP was thrown in with them could see my friends atleast watching it.

See if they like Bleach or Fullmetal Alchemist. They're [adult swim]'s most popular anime at the moment.

In One Piece news, looks like Jerome got the word about the petition

He is looking for one piece
Where's one piece. I can't find one piece
I like one piece :3

At this point, I'd be better served trying to find the One Piece myself (Keeping in mind that it's a fictional treasure in a fictional world with fictional dangers up the fictional hole) than ever expecting a UK release.

Have you checked tom cruises closet?
That is funny cos it's a reference to something I enjoooooooooooooy.

No.. wait.. I don't. He's a prick :P

Anyway, we have 96 signatures, nearly at the 100 milestone :D

Speaking of Tom Cruise, did you lot see him at the MTV Movie Awards a couple of weeks ago? He done Les Grossman again for couple of videos and a dance. It was the highlight of my life. Completely redeemed the guy.

back on topic please

Well i thought i would share this. I have tried contacting Cartoon Network for a few years (partly because i have nothing better to do :P). E-mails no matter how long or well punctuated they were never recieved me a single reply. However i messaged thier Youtube page regarding why on gods green earth they are not airing DragonBall Z. This is what they replied:

Dear Imran,

Thank you for you continued support of the show, DragonBall Z. Unfortunately, there are no plans for Cartoon Network to re-air the show now, or in the future due to rights.

We appreciate your enthusiasm for the show and the time you have taken to contact us and hope that you continue to enjoy other, current Cartoon Network shows that are being aired at this time.

Many thanks,
The Cartoon Network Team

So DragonBall Z wont be on TV anytime soon. And as for One Piece *cough*. DVD releases seem like a far too long winded process. And honestly i think most people would either buy the DragonBox sets or a official Ocean Dub release. I am just speculating with the Ocean dub release it wont happen i know. But the DragonBox could be a possibility.

Why dont companies that distribute anime in the UK Sub- License from Funimation then they can aquire shows like : DragonBall Z and One Piece. That way they may have a chance of purchasing these shows at reasonable prices to distribute. Meh! At the moment it seems like a lost battle.
