UK Anime Christmas Sales for 2025 [Anime Ltd's 12 Days of Xmas + More]

Been keeping an eye out on my order for fulfillment and still not yet shipped :(

As explained, maybe in the AL thread instead, their fulfillment house is closed from 23 December until 5 January.

This link isn't AL, but it's also Lime Wood Media, who fulfill orders for AL:

AL has a page too, but it's less succinct and not as clear in my opinion:

Hah! Gemsy-chan answered the same time as me...

I've cancelled most of the items I ordered - the wait has made me realise how little I need or really want some of that stuff - but still have a couple of unsent items from my first order on the 3rd. One day~

I came to the same realization and decided to cancel my other orders as well. I only ordered during the sale because FOMO got to me a bit and I felt kind of unhappy with my purchase decision since.

Also, I got my Perfect Blue 4K Deluxe Edition replacement today. I had to pay customs plus handling fees again, 18,80 Euros total, as they seem to be incapable of declaring items correctly as free replacements for shipping. They even included shipping costs in the total. At least they previously said that I would not have to return the incorrect item they shipped me before...

However, I am pretty fed up with having to deal with this.
I had to pay extra customs (for a "free" replacement item...) for the big Macross Plus Collector's Edition a few months back as well, negating any savings made from ordering during a sale.

With the high international shipping costs I really cannot justify ordering from AtA in the future, unless they finally start to implement the IOSS system.

@Just Passing Through
You intend merely to adopt sarcasm. I was born blinded to it, then molded by it. I didn't understand it until I was already a man; by then, it was meeeee.
That aside, I share(d) your pain, and that of those that came to the realisation tat ordered on the cheap is not worth the hassle.

I tried so hard but in the end it didn't even matter: before my Bleach BOGOFFs dispatched, on the afternoon of the 36th day since ordering, I'd already emailed Hanners; diplomatically informing him of my sincere desire to cancel my main Dec 13th order.

As of yet, no cancellation. This could create a 🥒 as I have ordered Call of the Night (for £34, cheaper than AL even with 10% off early bird) off eBay. It turns out, by sheer coincidence, the AL re-seller/scalper on eBay that price matches AL (and offers £5-25+ discounts) is called... Andrew Hanley, and based in Glasgow. Which is also Hanners name and location. After interrogating Fake Hanners, I have determined there are simply (too) many Andrews in Glasgow.
In short, I have befriended Fake Hanners, and will be buying AL goods from him going forward. The other, real Hanners I noted thanked everyone for their patience but did not apologise, as that would be admitting fault. 'Tis displeasing.

Truly, I came into this xmas sale, earnestly wishing to extend goodwilly to all. After a few years away from the chaos, I foolishly assumed by now it would be smooth as silk. Instead, we were all given sandpaper. SANDPAPER! And although I tried to show grace - even listening to Amazing Grace to calm myself - in the end I could not stay my hand.

I shalt not partake in future sales, and will instead purchase from Fake Hanners and/or MVM. AL can get tae duck.
