I just had a backorder item sent from the Crunchyroll Store and they charged me postage despite the entire order qualifying for free shipping and the in-stock items shipped for free so maybe wouldn't recommend ordering a back order item.

Oei, that sucks.. I had the same order situation with sentai, but did get the free shipping.

Oh thank you very much for this. I've been needing a Rider series on physical for a while now and I can't pass up on that offer. (Now I gotta pray Zavvi or another site stock Geats, Kuuga, or Ryuki for a good price sometime.)

If AOL's shipping charge was per order instead of per item, this would be perfect for me since I could order Land of the Lustrous and Made in Abyss S2 at the same time. Alas...

Is it possible to request AOL to ship an in-stock item and a pre-order together (when the latter releases)? That way I'd at least save on customs fees.
