Twilight Star Hit By A Taxi

Whoa. retro....i wouldn't like to be around you when your severely p*ssed off lol.

On topic....my ex read the books over and over again....to the point that she became obsessed, stopped going out...lost her job and stayed at home reading them again and again.

she was 17 at the time and i was 18....my proirities where much different....frstly i'd prefer to read The Night watch series. and i also agree that stephen king may appear abit different....but he's a genius, odd people have been genius' for years....einstein was a nutter but is regarded as one of the top scientists in history. i loved the shawshang redemption and didn't know it was that short....it just goes to show you can have one author who can write little but the quality is outstanding... then you can have another who writes a large quantity of dull drab for fangirls to go crazy over.

Well, Stephen King does write a lot. I won't pretend that I've read all he ever written, I'm sure Ayase must be right and his output has loads of crap in it, but most stuff I've read is pure win.

Pet cemetery, Different seasons (?), The Shining and Carrie are masterpieces.

I've started reading the dark tower series of his, but didn't read further than the first book. It was all right, I think and I'd probably get the rest of it when I have a chance.

@Tachi - wha?

Something tells me this is intentional.
So, you know, people can pretend they're her.

-is not defending twilight-

Your correct, it's the same as FPS games where the character is mute/nameless.

I'm not a Twilight fan, but I found this story rather amusing. What I dislike is when stars criticise the vehicles that have made them famous.

With regards to the author, wasn't there some allegations that she had nicked the idea for the series from her college roomate?

Taxi drivers versus vampires now? Sounds like a good premise for a B-Movie. I certainly have my preference out of the two.

only if the taxi driver is played by bruce campbell

i think you mean bruce willis? maybe

campbell was the guy with the chainsaw for a hand and would shove his boom stick down you throat
Bruce Willis doesn't do horror B-movies and he doesn't have a chainsaw hand. The choice is clear.
