Yes, what a shame the forum now has discussions about anime and less random nonsense/"creative trolling". Are you still wondering about the answer to your question re: why UK Anime has a certain opinion of this forum, Jayme? :p

My whole point with the UK Anime thing was that someone must have come over here, read everything and formed an opinion. A few people, even. I don't even think about that site, except for the tumbleweed it might be, I guess - I'm here. It's just... weird how the gag established itself.
 
Well, we've already discussed in this thread that at least one former regular here is now more of a regular there. But I do agree with what you say there, and was more taking a pot-shot at the concept that "creative trolling" was ace and "serious discussions" or discussions about anime releases is crazy.
 
Can I just point out how much I love this thread? It's called "Tiramisu Juice in Clannad" was resurrected with an inane comment over two years from it's initial posting and instantly became a discussion about forum history. This would not happen on any other forum and is a prime example of why I think we still have something here, guys.

On lesser forums, a body falls out of a nearby window and people start laying blame. Mods clean it up. Here we calmly walk over to it, sit down, continue our discussion and use the body as a table for our drinks. Here's to AUKN. ::raises glass::
 
I can't disagree, I think that, these days, 99% of the time this forum is a lot of fun to post on. Maybe 98%.

Well, I've been reading quite a lot on libertarianism lately... And I'm a major thread derailer myself, so as long as things are kept civil, I guess we don't really bother much.

How can one make juice of a cake? get a piece of tiramisu and put it in a blender? Is there a will it blend episode with it?

I plan to try this as soon as I get my hand on some Tiramisu, if all else fails it will become Tiramisu wine.
 
Have to say, I think I'm one of the worst offenders of thread hijacking. I won't stop, but I'm acutely aware of it but not so much on how much it might or might not annoy people.
