ANYWAYS...yea chavs are stupid!

Worlds Apart... 8)

Never really had anything like that...my favourite WA moment was when a bunch of (I guess...) chavs came in and absolutely CREAMED themselves over a Scarface action figure.

"AHHHH LAD! FUCKIN' 'ELL! SKAAAAFACE KIDDA!"...k, sounds rubbish, but it was FUNNY to be there. >_>

XD

The **** they come out with.

I was a bit hyper when i saw the Saber from Fate/Stay Night figure.

Nope not that i know of.
I come from a pretty open minded place though it's always funny in hmv you see people looking at the anime section they look like there gonna buy porn.
I have fun by walking next to em there eyes og O.O(oh no must pretend to look at the movies)then i pick up an anime box and there like "oh cool"and there eyes flick back to anime :p

The sad bastards (The Chavs) obviously have an amazing social life if they've got time to do that. God it would've been a riot if they'd done that to me and my friends...If you go through L'pool, stroll through "The Gardens" near the museum to get an idea of who my friends are. That'll scare them.

Oh God >_>
Me and mates were once on a tram and a chav came up while I was reading manga and said "eew" so I was like "got a problem?!" and he looked scared and walked off.
And another time I was on a bus and some old lady told me "that a young man such as yourself should be reading the bible instead" at which point I said "this is better" and flashed a scene where somebody gets their head shot off XD

Amen lol

Somehow stuffy judgemental types like the latter annoy me more than the chavs. BTW, what was the manga?

Yeah sooo annoying :x and the manga was Battle Royale

well i was on a train once, (the end car, remember that), i was reading some manga, suddenly this chav walks by and says something to the degree of 'you're reading manga!, you're a f***ing idiot you piece of ****.
of course, what he didn't realize, is that the guy he said that to (me), is a 6' 8" giant who won't take crap from anyone.

The reason i said he was in the end car... he went into the first class section which was very near my seat, the door on the other side had been locked because... it was the last car on the train.
At that point when he saw me walk in... you could say his face went very pale.

did i do anything physical... No (because thats trouble waiting for me in the long run).
So i just gave him a harsh talking to, be careful what you say to people because it may come back to haunt you, and at some point included asked him 'why am i an idiot for reading manga?'
his reply 'because it sucks'.
my reply 'have you actually ever read any?'
his reply 'no'
my reply 'and i'm the idiot?'

what was even better about the situation, is that the conductor came into to ask what was going on, i explained what happened, and the chav denied it and try to say some stupid story to get me into trouble.
But, there were other people in the same car who saw everything, and they all defended me.

The chav was handed with a fine.

that whole story may sound fake to some people, but trust me, it happened.

In my opinion, if someone comes up to you and says something. it's a tough situation to be in, but if anything, just ignore it and carry on with your own buissness.
obviously, sometimes whatever happens, somethings just can't be helped.

That's nothing new about old people, i've met and seen quite a few that have been as rude as chavs in some respects (though thankfully the elderly speak better english). Just the other day an old woman pushed in front of me in the bus and then yelled at me because i shouldn't of been in the wa :( luckily it seemed the other elderly folk around overheard and told me she was always like that and apologised.

Still goes to show rudeness and snide remarks know no age!

that's true, lol.
when i hear a chav speaking, half the time it's like a foreign language to me.

A lot of old people (mainly women in my experience) are just horrible.

I know I'm an evil yob, warped into little more than an animal after years of violent video games, suicide music and sick foreign cartoons, but I've decided to be nice and let you on the train before me, so you could at least like...say thanks or something. Or maybe just don't look at me like I'm a dog that just pissed on your shoe. Or not. Whatever.

It is sad that some people have such sorry lives they have to put others down to find enjoyment.

Being into goth and alternative music and life style I have had trouble with the chavs and townies, normally the way I dressed, the colour of my hair or my piercings. As I have got older I have moved out of their target group also looking like a slightly shorter Mick Foley the wrestler normally puts them off now days as I look like I can do damage and will often answer back rather than just ignore them.

I don't think I have ever had trouble for buying manga and anime. However I buy most of mine over the net so can't really remember the last time I had some in my hand in a shop. Although at 34 I probably don't fit the demographic people think of when buying manga. I could well imagine odd looks from people thinking is he buying that for his kids(which I don't have) where are they is that appropriate for their ages. Or in this age of the witch hunt is he some kind of pedophile or something.
