The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has the announcement of the creation of a third season of Bakuman which is due to be aired from autumn 2012.

Synopsis

Moritaka Mashiro is a talented artist, Akito Takagi is an aspiring writer and the two aspire to become the greatest manga artists in Japan. They are joined in their dreams of creativity by Azuki Miho, an aspiring voice actress. Who Mashiro develops a crush on.

Bakuman comes from Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, the creators of Death Note. The anime was produced by J.C. Staff and ran for 25 episodes on NHK from 2010-2011.

Yay. I haven't started the anime yet (the first DVD is on my Christmas list!) but I'm sure I'll need more of it given how great the manga is. I want to see Eiji with sound.

And this is good news, for a split-second I thought it said "cancelled" and I was all: D= but then I re-read and was like: =D

He's being voiced by that Brawl Taunts dude. It could either be really good or really bad.

Edit: ...in the dub, which I just realized you don't watch...
 
I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Brawl Taunts, whatever it may be. (Edit: Oh!)

Just looked at the cast listings and I love the choice for Eiji's voice actor already, so with Sparrowsabre's note I'm triply excited for Christmas.

(I'm sure those other inferior people in the series will be cool in animation too. I adore pretty much every character aside from Nakai >_>; )

Have no fear, Eiji remains the best character, even in animated form. :)

I enjoy this pretty much every week still (I think it's the only Jump series I'm watching the anime version of?), so color me pleased.

yeah none of the other character's voices really stand out, they're all good of course, but they probably sound like you imagine lol. But then they are just supposed to be normal people so they wouldn't sound too outrageous :p
