Kimba is Jungle Taitei.
It's like Ribbon no Kishi ending up as Princess Knight, or Asobi ni Iku yo! ending up as Cat Planet Cuties.
American title not based on the Japanese one.

In Germany it´s the same. Manga and TV-Show were running as "Kimba the white Lion".

You could say the Lion King was influenced by Kimba i,d rather say they totally ripped it off,even though i still enjoyed the Lion King i have no idea how disney got away with it.

everything gets rip off if its over 50% likeness of a nother series them they'd be in trouble. but i think the creators turned a blind eye to disney

Obviously? There really aren't that many similarities between Paprika and Inception. I love both movies but barring the dream sharing machine (which was the central point of Paprika and incidental in Inception) the two movies are totally different in tone and story. I think people are grasping at straws with that one, I'm not denying it may have been an influence but "inspired" is unlikely.

As for Perfect Blue, I DO think that had a lot more to do with Black Swan, but that concept of a dual personality and "other me" isn't original either, but it does irk me more than a little that Aronofsky denies Perfect Blue having ANY influence whatsoever. If he'd not seen Perfect Blue then I would believe him, but the fact that he's not only seen it but BOUGHT THE EFFING RIGHTS makes that statement more than a little hard to believe... but it's still not unheard of for two people to have the same idea with zero connection to another.
