Normally i do as well just in certain cases where importing is unavoidable, like castlevaina Dawn of Sorrow, i searched high and low for that game in this country, so i ended up getting it in for america...was cheaper as well. I'd also imported a gundam Seed gba game but that didn't turn out to be a good move, as it was very lackluster
 
Im not huge on handheld games, and cant be bothered to get a foreign console, so i normally just play the stuff that comes out over here.
