The General Conversation Area

Morning all.

I'm not so bad today, but I did have one of those lethargic mornings where you wake up early but then can't find the energy to get out of bed for about twenty minutes. Had time to swing by the bakery though, so now have a cheese & onion pasty and cherry scone for lunch. :)

Never watched any of the shows being discussed I'm afraid... So I'm of no use there. :p

Toradora! is a good anime if you don't mind your Harems Ayase. It was also pritty damn funny also.

... MMmmm... cherry scone.... *leans head back and gargles*

Hiya Voddas :D

and yep I have got college today, I already had 1 lesson and now I'm at home for a few hours and to have lunch before I go back to college for my last lesson of the day

Hey Mono. :)

I've heard of School Rumble, but just presumed it was a fighting show about kids beating each other up in the playground...

You'd have thought I'd have learned about titles not being indicative of content from the likes of Cowboy Bebop and Bubblegum Crisis. They weren't about a jazz band in the wild west, or a dangerous shortfall in chewing gum production. ;)

Only two lessons today aye? Very nice. Was the same with me. I used to wish they'd just stick them all together so you got them all done and then you would be free. Nothing worse than going home knowing your returning. But anywho, hope your doing ok with your cold Mono.
Think I mite be coming down with one. :(

edit: Sorry, totally blind sided Ayase's post there lol.

Good to hear Mono. :thumb:

20 mins left till I go for lunch... not really hungry though. Would much prefer a nap instead. Shame they don't have beds in this building. lol

Nope, not yet. Loads of DVD's on my queue, I'm afraid. I'll probably get it at London Expo, though.

You couldn't be more wrong. There are no playgrounds in school rumble

;)

LOL

And hey mono, glad you're feeling better =o)

Anyone watching / reading anything good lately?
I'm re-watching Grenadier now that I managed to get myself the box set at the B&B at Ayacon. It's great fun.

And next, I'm willing to start Ghost hunt, as I finally got the second volume of the series.

Besides haveing just watched the heavily entertaining Toradora!, I've just read the first volume of Bakuman. Someone else on AUKN is reading it (can't remember who), maybe Jayme. Well anyway, I decided to take a look. I must say I found it very absorbing. I didn't look away untill I got threw the first chapter. Very good read. Has a Genshiken feel (if anyone has read that). Mainley because of the theme of the char creating a manga/Doujinshi. It's a good read so far. ^^

Later Mono. *waves at the shadows*

See ya later Mono.

Disappeared for a while there - Typing up a mini-essay in response to the new Nakama Brittanica article. Nice to see it return.

I've been watching Shigurui (and... slowly typing up a review. Sorry for the wait chaos) next on my list is Gurren Lagann Vol. 2 and I've naughtily downloaded You're Under Arrest, because I can't find one of the four R1 boxes for less than about £40. If I knew I was going to enjoy it it wouldn't be so bad, but 3x£30 + 1x£40 is a lot of money to spend on something I've never seen.
