I'm brazilian, we do BBQ even when it rains. Actually, we did it in the rain once...

he's actually half Brazilian, the rest of him's a nut

anyhow i've just been trying out that shuffle VN, though i behind other people mentioned about it so i thought I'd give it ago. I think one of the main reasons was that i watched the series again and felt bad for Keade, she seems most easiest to get specially if the player isn't to sure which path to choose. Other then that, since i heard the dub of the series first, it's awkward to hear it in Japanese on the game, so i tend to turn the voices off and human cognition works for me there

Anyone want to recommend me anything from YesAsia costing just over $4.00, so I can get free postage?

My last sub-$10 purchase from them was the mini album entitled "Lee Jung Hyun Mini Album - Avaholic" (their wording, to help you search). Might not be your thing unless freaky Korean techno does it for you but here are some samples of the tracks I enjoyed:

<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kpdUgL6zrPA&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kpdUgL6zrPA&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IvZASXpn_q4&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IvZASXpn_q4&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I'm a bit of a fangirl of her screechy, aggressive style so might be biased.

Certainly listenable (the first song moreso than the second, to me at least) but probably not the sort of thing I'd put on more than a couple of times. Always interested in new things to listen to though, so thanks anyway. :)

It would be great if someone would produce some compilations of Asian artists for sale in the West, to bring them to the attention of people here. There are probably loads I'd like but it's just finding them to begin with... I wouldn't know where to start.

I do love hearing the Japanese and Cantonese languages sung (I've never heard much Korean music at all). Indeed the purchase I'm trying to make up the numbers on is Slayers: Megumix. Megumi has an excellent voice and it's great to find you can get all the tracks you want from a long running series without buying several different albums.

Well, you could go for a Megumi bundle and throw on the Slayers Evolution-R theme CD (it's not on Megumix, which was released for the prior series Revolution) or throw caution to the wind and grab another compilation as her Saber Marionette/Nukunuku/Blue Seed/Lost Universe music is all of the same type and quality as the excellent Slayers songs ;)

For very low priced things I think a R3 movie DVD or a CD single are your best bet, unless you want to stock up on tiny capsule toys and creep out your customers by dangling them at work. You get a free capsule toy though if you buy two JP CDs though right?

I find it horrifically easy to spend money at Yesasia.

I know the feeling. I ended up being slightly boring and just went for another Patlabor bunkoban. I'm up to number eight now, they've been useful little books for free shipping those. I'll be able to read 'em one day. ;)

had a depressing sunday, as I watched welcome to the nhk.

Also had a great time on Friday at the CS meeting, where I've met a nice girl, who will leve London the day after tomorrow =S
guess it's just my luck.... :'(

Weekend could have been better for me, if i didn't get stuck with a very annoying cold =/ Asides from that i'm good today, because now i have internet in the flat \o/. Now all i need to do is get myself a router and everything is perfect.

Morning.

Good news on the Internet connection Arby, hard luck with the girl chaos. I hate it when that happens - You meet someone for a brief second who you'd like to get to know better, but there is no way of seeing them again (without considerable financial cost / job loss / possibly making a complete idiot of yourself).

I've had this kind of thing while traveling before, the worst was a girl I met on a long bus ride - She was going home and I was going to the airport in her city to fly back to the UK. I felt like banging my head on the seat in front most of the flight home... especially since she seemed pretty damn into me. You can't really say: "Tell you what, give me your phone number and I might save up enough cash to come back in... Oh, about three years?"

I can laugh about it now, but at the time... What a bastard life can be sometimes.

Thank ya! The only problem was that virgin media never gave us the free router we where meant to get, even though we got the 10mb Broadband, so its rather annoying, but i need to pick one up at some point, so now i have the incentive to do so.

@chaos: Bad luck there, i've had a similar problem once previous myself, though ok she was about for a lot longer than that. She had to go back home after a good half year or so, and when i was finally getting to know her, she left. Twas rather annoying i will say. But alas, thats life.

Thanks guys. I'm all right now, I was in a bad mood while watching NHK as I see a lot of me in Satou and Yamazaki.
I'd say I'm a mix of both of them, without the extremes.

Other than that, I'm still looking for a new job... I don't know, my boss started to bother me as of late. and it's actually impacting my capacity to do the job well :S

Gah, i hate the idea of working, but i'm gonna have to now i think, which is annoying. Loan still hasn't gone through yet, so i still need to get everything sorted for flat payments and all that jazz. Need to get a TV license now we have the TV box(no Sky1 annoys me, no House =/).

WHY DOES EVERYTHING NEED MONEY??

*ahem* - feel better now ;p

Front office developer for either Equities or FX, mainly java and SQL, specialized in multi-threading and low latency systems.
Very specific stuff.

But actually I wanted to work as a consultant for Oracle, IBM or MS.
This way. I'd keep on travelling, which would be extra nice =)

Other place I think I'd like is google.
Anyway, anywhere that is not a bank would be great!
