Do you wish to continue to (hypothetically) come around to my house and bask in my hospitality?

I can cancel the fajitas!!! *threatens to turn the frying pan off*
So sorry, please accept my humblest of apologies. My statement was insulting, rude and immature. Please see it in your kind, forgiving heart to see past my misgivings and allow me into humble abode to sample your exquisite cuisine.

That's more like it ☺️

Well, that's fajita time "wrapped" up 😋

Also, am I reading right? South Korea 2 - 0 Germany and Mexico 0 - 3 Sweden?

If Belgium and England have any sense they'll be playing to finish 2nd tomorrow.

Top half of the draw includes the following
  • France
  • Uruguay
  • Portugal
  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • Mexico
  • Columbia/Japan/Sengal
While the bottom half includes just
  • Spain
  • Russia
  • Croatia
  • Denmark
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Columbia/Japan/Sengal
So if England finish runners up and get to the QF they'd only have Sweden or Switzerland waiting for them. Then most likely Spain or Croatia in the Semi's. It'd be suicide to win the group tomorrow! I know form is an important thing to consider but come on the route to the Semi Final of a World Cup is right there! Playing last is a lucky privilege in this scenario that shouldn't be overlooked.

Suddenly that 6-1 win against Panama is less than ideal, Typical England lol.

But finishing top of the group on maximum points would be a massive confidence boost. I don't mind either way, I've got £30 coming betting they'd get out the group 👍

Oof this heat makes me worry for my Blu rays sometimes. Just feeling my box sets be at any Temperature above cold worries me.

I understand the confidence boost but damn one side of the draw is clearly stacked in comparison.
Going on previous performances in the groups Uruguay and Brazil are the danger teams in the top half but the bottom half still has Croatia and Spain who have to turn up at some point. On paper finishing second in the group does give an easier path to the QF. But that's the beauty of the knock out stages, there are no easy games.

SPA or CRO wouldn't be till the Semi Final. Man tomorrow is going to be brutal mix of emotions. I'm 60/40 to wanting to finish second. I totally understand the benefit of potentially going to the QF against Brazil on a 4 win streak. If only that shot hadn't hit Kane's heel lol.
