I wouldn't be but my TV is likely going to get worse with its slight dimming issue, I don't even know if I can flog it for anything which is sad.

Yeah, I mean, I don't know much about tech really, but I imagine that T.V.s are harder to sell, especially if people don't mind investing in a brand new 4k. Hope you find something though!
