I'm no spring chicken.
I don't think anyone inflating the posts in this thread is, we're all around 30? (28 myself, 25 if you ask twice) I just may have a teenager's standards (but then again do men really grow out of that? look at those rich old men with size zero wives)
not been diagnosed with any kind of illness like depression, not seen a shrink, I'm guessing if I seen one though they'd say I have a common mix of depression and anxiety, and I wouldn't be surprised if many people age 30 downwards were the same.

I am trying to lose the weight for myself though, I do think health is important and it may benefit a few people not to lose a couple of stone but a few pounds maybe, I felt better when I did lose it before, but then again I started thinking no one really cared

That's true, at least we're all ageing gracefully together!

It's cool :) So long as you do it for yourself and not for anyone else, that's all that counts!
 
I’ll have to be the opposite to folks general rule and say I could do with putting on some weight. I have the frame/build to be quite muscular and could probably do with bulking up a little bit. Not a great deal but a little bit.

I'd be in that bracket as well. I only weigh something like 8'10". I did once start to put on a little bit of weight a couple of years ago, and it all went to the same place, so I'd started to develop a pot belly. It was not a pretty sight.

I've burned it all back off now.

I would say this too! Muscle naturally burns some fat.
I just think these days with the number of people who seem to have depression And the way certain jobs change, good habits are hard and bad habits are easy
 
I'm just under 5'6'' and my weight is approx 76kg; not that I care about my weight; I don't even own scales, but I had to have my weight taken when I had ECG and spyrometry tests done a while back. Ideally I'd like to be more toned, but I'm happy enough with my overall weight and ****...

Funny fact, there really isn’t much separating our weights.
 
So I just returned from the local shops for about the seventh time today. No joke. I got annoyed at going, last time my OH wanted double cream to finish of a trifle and some other stuff so I got the requested amount. This time as that lot wasn’t enough, I emptied the shelf. Now I have about 10 tubs of cream...

Never serve me trifle - I hate every single ingredient in it!
