PHOBOS!!! XD

If I was handing out pamphlets, I'd have dropped them all in shock!

Hmm, tea was actually very rather delicious! Mum had made home-made tomato soup, with pasta to go in it for a bit of substance! I'm fussy with soup, but it was bang on: a little bit thick and lots of flavour ^^ Nice one, Mum!

Being used to it doesn’t mean it’s sucks any less, it’s just crappy in every sense.

True, I guess I constantly feel the need to justify it - I know there are people out there with worse illnesses and stuff, but as you say, it doesn't mean that this is any less valid and doesn't cause problems. Even when I was diagnosed the Dr just said "B12 seriously low, you need to come and have injections every 3 months for the rest of your days" - nothing about what it's caused by, what it does, how it affects your body! I had to figure all that out the hard way! :S

Wouldn’t you like approaching random strangers and asking them if they were well endowed?

I had some really nice minestrone recently. Baxters, I think it was. Heinz lentil is my favourite, though. Mmm.

That's p*ss-poor. :(

I have to be in the mood for soup, and I only really like a few kinds (tomato being one). I like lentils, though I don't have them often (I think they're considered posh for this household XD). Sounds good though, yum!

Yeah, I kind of get the feeling I waste Dr's/Nurse's time when I go with a complaint. 9 times out of 10 it'll be B12 related, but I can't help but feel like I'm just getting brushed off sometimes. I'm NEVER ill, and I only got diagnosed with this issue about 3 years ago, but all I ask is that anything I talk about is validated at least. I never make a fuss out of anything so if I'm complaining about something then I'm just curious to find out what it could be becasue it's not normal!

Yeah, most don’t seem to care enough to go into details. If I ever have to go to the quacks he go into detail. Mainly because they know if they don’t I’ll bug them with question.

I’m similar there. If something’s wrong I like to know about it. I find how the body can malfunction rather interesting. It’s amazing how many different ways it can screw you over.

The surgery I go to has an open surgery, so you can just turn up between 08:30 and 10:00am without making an appointment and ask to see a Dr or Nurse. You only get 10 mins, but I always feel like I'm being "rushed" through the doors. All I ask is that I'm not invalidated as some "worry wort" everytime I complain about something "out of the norm" - I've had to read up about what it does and how it affects the body; a bit of a heads up from the Drs would have been nice though. Left undiagnosed it can cause serious health problems that are irreversible!

The Heinz lentil is nice and thick. In fact, it's so thick it needs watered down a little. The challenge is getting it just right, and it's satisfying when you do!

Yeah, I get the same feeling. It took seven years to get my asthma diagnosed.

Yes. It is.

No, no it's not! IT'S NOT! (can't stop laughing).

That's just it! I'm not expert, that's what the professionals are there for! It's a complex illness and can affect numerous parts of the body and it's functions :S

That probably goes some way to explaining the rush in all honesty. The irreversible stuff can be nasty!

That’s taking the ultimate right there.
