Things like reptiles would probably fair better with that much separation. In my experience they really don’t bond or rely on you like mammals do.

Kudos to you, kudos.Nah, you're right, my Mum asked if I'd have another cat after Neko's passing, and as much as part of me would love another cat, I just don't think it's the right time. I'm out of work right now, and I just don't have the energy. If something happened to it and it needed veterinary treatment, I'd feel guilty since I don't have any money. We're still paying off Neko's vet bills even nowPets are wonderful, but you do need to make sure you have the means to take care of them, for sure!

Not saying this applies to you here but another thing to bear in mind in a situation like that is... even getting a new one won’t solve issues. They aren’t a replacement. Their temperament will be different plus they might not even bond with you.Ah thanks dude

Holy **** guys. I just went downstairs to got get some fruit (the kitchen is opposite basement and nexy to a toilet nobody uses) and heard a glug glug noise... It was pretty loud... Basically you know when you have a sink filled and it makes that glug sound when you pull the plug? Sounded kinda like that...
I stepped out from the kitchen and heard it again much clearer no one was in any sort of perimeter near me. I have no idea what it was... So weird. It is raining outside but it ain't that heavy to make a noise like that. It was like it was happening in the kitchen it was that loud and clear.
Not gonna lie I'm not that freightened as spooky **** like this rarely happens to me.
