Here is a short interview on Final Fantasy VII Revelation which states the game will be around 200 GB:
Assuming they fill the one disc of the physical edition, at most that is still only 100 GB of data, so there will be another 100 GB to download. The answer to the question about digital versus physical and how they have more time to finalize a digital version makes me wonder if that one disc will even include much of the game, but instead be the functional equivalent of Nintendo's game key cards.
Either way, I am not at all happy. I can't download a 100 GB file. Not everyone's internet is reliable enough, fast enough, and without a data cap to allow for such. Do these gaming companies not understand this? Or do they just not care? I find it especially depressing for this particular game, because I will be forever stuck with only two out of three parts of it. This is coming out long before Sony is ending disc production, so it's Square Enix's decision to not release a multi-disc package, unless Sony is also enforcing some kind of constraints or limitations on multi-disc games.
@Spark_Heal apparently Caladrius 2 had a playable demo at Tokyo Game Show, but it's always hard to find any coverage of more niche titles like this so I haven't found anything beyond one short blurry video taken of someone playing it at the show.
Luminous Avenger iX3 was also there and I did stumble upon a single video for that one:
