So I had been thinking of buying the 3 remaining Monogatari sets and before tax & shipping thats around $199 and little more than £135. However, for now, it's unclear (though increasingly going in one particular direction) whether MVM would be able to release them so in a bit of bind about it. I am still debating what I would do as, if MVM were able to, I could just sell them later as it's not something I would intend to keep if cheaper (though of course worse) options were available given I haven't started with these AoA sets from the beginning.

The table includes FedEx shipping, VAT duty shown from TRSI's calculator as well as postage for UP1. The conversion rate is based on $1 = 71.6p as of 20th February.

You could argue it's a bit cheaper bundling the sets together, but there's currently no tests to see how packages will get through if the price is above £135.

Thanks for that comparison. It really helps put some prices into perspective between the two sites.
(Now I need to decide on whether Babylonia or Case Files will actual come to the UK or whether I need to import it.)

Indeed. If the GBP value continues to improve, the prices on Rightstuf will also get cheaper so unless UP1 adjusts their prices which they have done from time to time, weirdly enough Rightstuf is cheaper to import these sets.

That's some potential good news if things improve over the coming months. Those sets are expensive as it stands, so any improvements in GBP make them that bit cheaper.

Its processing, got held up by Rightstuf asking for my card details for verification which was an odd process (had moved between now and when I last ordered from them). I'll stick with it and decide later if I want to sell and get MVM's release or just keep with the Absolute mess of MVM (most of them), Hanabee( Neko Black) and AoA (the last 3) releases. Seems appropriate in a way.

Update: Was just shipped, thankfully.

Sounds weird saying this but I appreciate you willing to risk testing this out, because if it's successful it'll make sorting out the rest of my Aniplex stuff (and anything else) sorted through Rightstuf much smoother.
 
I intend to continue the AoA splurging as well albeit in chunks. I want to finish the monogatari collection (minus Kizu as it's the same as MVM's and 2nd season because I can't think of any legit reason on how it's worth it over the MVM boxset) and I want to get the Fate series in CE format as well. Also a few potential one off's like Meguka and Black Butler S1.

I should have it by next week. I will say that, with the caveat of that its subject to customs being consistent (which they aren't always) and whether FedEx will send me a demand anytime up to a month afterwards, I wanted to know myself anyway so its a positive to get it known generally.
 
So, all 3 Aniplex releases arrived today via FedEx

So I can say, for now, no further charge has been demanded from me and nothing has been suggested that will be case. If a demand is sent to me in the upcoming days i'll post again but nothing as of yet. So, a positive sign.

Excellent. FedEx generally takes a while before offering a customs notice so if you don't get one in the next 21 days you should be safe!

Aye, should be the case if it happens. Just in time for the Fate Grand/Order Babylonia Box Set I order to be sent from Rightstuf. The train never ends.
