I've always wanted to finish 86 as due to circumstances beyond my control I only made it 1/2 through, I got my hands on a copy of the us set and it's every bit as good as I remember it being.

Sorry, that's $30 us-not uk pounds. As to how-I happened to be in the right place at the right time. This person had gotten sick of anime and sold his entire collection which included an almost complete NIS premium set and a whole bunch of other rare stuff and it was dirt cheap so I was able to get almost all of it for next to nothing.

That's an amazing find, many congratulations!! Now please share your good fortune by lending them out to everyone🤣.

Wish someone would re-release this at some point, especially given Monogatari's popularity. Katanagarari is one of two, alongside Blood+, that I had resigned to not being able to watch normally. But if there is hope on the horizon for the latter with AL's not-so-recent licensing, then I'll keep the faith for the former!
 
I had such a positive experience with the first volume that I brought #DRCL midnight children Volumes 2-4. Volume 2 has a slight dent in the spine it but I'm going to say it adds character. This ended up being cheaper than buying them online.

In terms of anime I prefer ordered Project A-Ko and Bubblegum Crisis from Anime-On-Line.

I really do hope AL will eventually release the Cardcaptor Sakura movies and I'll re-buy them if they have a nice CE but I've waited long enough as I've held off on watching the series due to wanting to watch it all in chronological order (as movie one takes place between episodes 35 and 36 and movie two takes place between the end of the original series and Clear Card).

There's no word on AL licensing the Bleach movies yet but like with CCS I'd like to watch all of Bleach in chronological order as well which includes the movies. I have seen all four of these before but they were with not much knowledge of the series before-hand.

I'm also glad to finally be able to complete my collection of the original Sailor Moon with S5 and the movies, this'll also be another series I can watch in chronological order now as well.

Like with Bleach, no word on AL licensing the Naruto movies yet either and though I haven't started collecting Naruto on blu-ray yet I thought I might as well get this now. I watched these a lot when I was first getting into anime, especially the first movie so I'm quite nostalgic for these.

I went with a couple of Arrow Boxsets pre-orders from the 10% off sale.

If you're stressing about Rarewaves delivery; have a Cadbury's Caramel and take it easy.

I ordered For a Few Dollars More and it was despatched on 20th of May. I then took a chance on the Attack on Titan S1 Steelbook after hearing it had the US discs and not Manga's. That was despatched on the 28th of May.

Both arrived together ten minutes ago.
 
I'm conducting a bit of an experiment to see how good my understanding of Japanese is! I bought two German Blurays of title that (I think) are not available with English subtitles anywhere in the world: Yoyo and Nene, the Little Witch Sisters and Genji Monogatari.
I don't speak read German, but I am Dutch, so I hope that the similarities between German and Dutch will help me out as well.
I'll start with Yoyo and Nene because it seems a cute upbeat story that probably a bit easier to follow. Genji Monogatari might be a challenge, because the story is probably more complicated and maybe it will use more old fashioned Japanse. I still wanted to try it, because it seemed like a wonderful classic.
