The Anime/Manga I Bought Today Was...

Today i bought death note volume 2, and since its anime related, i pre-ordered the first FMP novel, Fighting Boy meets Girl

Naruto 2:1 arrived this morning, I'm really annoyed after watching 3 eps, Manga used dubtitles (lots of out of synch subs/subs for dialogue that was added in the dub that never existed in japanese/no subs for dialogue that's in japanese but removed from the dub) rather than having proper subs in 1:1 and 1:2 :evil: . If they don't do something about making replacements with proper subs I'll switch to R1 (unless Viz moved to dubtitles which I doubt). This is one show I love in Japanese more than anything and Manga really messed up. :evil: :evil: :evil:

That sucks to hear that.. I thought at least we would get a solid UK release of Naruto.. Although it is from Manga, and they release corrected disks without much problem (as known from other releases), so let's hope it gets sorted : )
 
Naruto Unleashed 2.1 and volume 14 of the Naruto manga both arrived today along with Case Closed vol 17 and Hunter x Hunter volume 14 (manga). Still awaiting another DVD.

Started to collect the Gundam Wing DVD's, first seen it on Toonami back in the day and i have a hankering to watch it all again. It was one of my favourites.

Couple of good movies for £5 each, bargain. Plus Oh my Goddess! volume 1, 99p bargain.

Started to collect Ghost in the shell, mixture of Stand Alone Complex and the 2nd Gig. Those 5 DVD's in total cost me £1.27 bargain of the week.

My best buy of the last couple of weeks, Imported limited edition Black Lagoon box set. Love it, chock full of extras and the metal tin is brilliantly made. A must for any fan of the show.

Ah I see, I had mine on order there but I cancelled because DVD Pacific was cheaper :x. The only thing with ordering from American shops though is last week the postal service changed.. and apparently they took out Internation Surface Mail.. which is how you can get things here under £18 :/.. DVD Pacific still offer that delivery option though so gotta milk them until they change it xD.
 
Importing is good if your doing it in bulk, i ordered £50 ($100) of stuff from discountanimedvd but it took 2/3 weeks to turn up. It's fine if you don't mind the wait but i wasn't going to go through all that effort for a mere £4. If the difference was about £20 or £30 then fair enough.
