So, what's for lunch?

Went for tapas with some friends last night and honestly, the octopus just sounded nice....but when it came out one of the girls I was with deemed it the hentai option. Not sure what to make of that but it tasted nice :confused:

The way it's cooked looks good though, and it looks like there's a good bit of meat there. Nice! 🙂👍

Lol, I really like both octopus and squid, just like I love sardines and anchovies, and all that other "strong-flavored" fish stuff. That looks really good... 🐙🦑

And hey, if that girl you were with automatically associated that dish with anime tenticle porn, then her mind is in the right place, and you should date her immediately... ;)
 
I haven't had a Wimpy for about 25 years. I used to absolutely love it, but all the ones near me shut down ages ago.

That looks amazing and now I want a Wimpy. 😭
 
There’s one in Felixstowe which is where I went today with my brothers. We used to go there a lot as a family and it hasn’t changed much in all these years.

Picked up a couple of 360g Toblerone bars at the local discount grocery store. I actually haven't seen these big ones before in person, so my eyes lit up when I found them! These go for $12 -$15 each normal retail over here, but I got these for only $2.50 each... Yum!

🍔 Speaking of burgers, I had an awesome one last night for dinner at the Bullfrog Brewery in in the town where my daughter goes to college, She had her graduation ceremony yesterday, and we went out to eat afterwards. Unfortunately I didn't think to take a photo of my meal, I really should have. It was called the "Face Melter," a half pound burger that was a ridiculously tall, about 6" in height. In addition to the standard lettuce, tomato, and a fat onion slice, it had melted Cheddar cheese and a generous dose of hot pepper relish on it - The menu noted it as "Extremely Hot," and it certainly was - I asked the waitress about the relish, and she told me they make it in-house from 5 varieties of fresh hot peppers they justy puree in a blender - Ghost, Scorpion, Viper, Habanero, and Jalepeno. It was definitely the best and hottest burger I've ever had, although I paid for it somewhat this morning, lol... 🚽
