I think it would be a nice idea.. You could talk about lots; If it was weekly, you could talk about this week's new releases in anime/manga/gaming/etc.
I don't really listen to many "official" (big and well known) podcasts, because I feel like an outsider if I just try to listen to one episode - And that's why I don't like Maxon's idea - Because, if people from aukn did it, it would be a nice variety of people, opinions, and accents and not the boring old american accent you hear on <insert>.
