After about 2003, I totaly agree. They went senile after the first season of Megaman NT Warrior. Totaly bugfreak insane.

Evangelion easily. Not only do I consider it an extremely mediocre series at the best of times (and god awful a lot of the time) the fact that it completely skewed the way Anime went in the late 90s (I only found out the fandom about it like a year after I watched it and dismissed it as rubbish - I was shocked) is unforgivable.
