Schedule Update: 5 New MVM Titles for 5th October

All to be released on the 5th October 2009:

<strong>Disgaea Volume 3</strong> &pound;15.99
<strong>Gunparade March Volume 2</strong> &pound;15.99
<strong>Witchblade Complete Series Box Set</strong> &pound;49.99
<strong>X Volume 1</strong> &pound;15.99
 
Witchblade and X for me, please.

X is an old favourite, I've seen it fansubbed and it was one of those cases where the anime was better than the manga.

Witchblade simply because one too many person told me I should watch that one.

i'll sell it to you for half the price I paid

or better yet I'll trade for something of equal value

The complete series for 38. I believe that a few months after the release it will be much cheaper than that.

You have to ask why MVM are even bothering. What's with all the 5-7/10 and old **** they're releasing? They're even going down the singles route first... :/

They will eventually just die. I seriously doubt the likes of Kyo will earn them enough bread for them to keep going. They're like the R2 clone of Geneon, just with slightly less in the way of horrible titles.
 
Goddammit, I haven't bought Desert Punk Volume 1 yet, but it have watched episode 1 at a friend and it was quite funny :D I must buy the volumes in the near future!

the only issue with the manga I have is that it never really ended. The anime offers an ending to it, so in that regards, I like the anime more.

I do think it's quite a while to release this. There are a few CLAMP fans around to support this, but I'm not sure how popular this will prove. if it follows the original american singles release, it's an 8 DVD's series.
