Only if they find it *cough cough* not that I usually fill my suitcase.

Shota would probably get you in all kinds of trouble. Most of my BL would probably just make them scratch their heads and wonder what was going on :)

My Heat Magazine would be the size of an encyclopedia then
Encyclopaedia? How odd it is for this sort of material to be compiled in such a scholarly manner.
Understandable though, there's a lot of 'school activity' within doujin circles.

hey i cant find any doujin or much manga really... wheres the best place to go to get it???

Well, depends what you're after. Head to Akihabara 秋葉原 (I'll give you directions if you tell me your nearest train stations...) which is in the northeast central bit of Tokyo, near Ueno. Right near the main JR station is a shop, Gamers, which is rather brightly coloured and should sort you out for a lot of things.

For manga any book shop will carry a lot, or you can go to a dedicated manga store. Most shops which carry doujinshi also carry manga separately, so...

For doujinshi just keep wandering around the main street in Akihabara and look down the side streets; there's a huge industrial-looking red building called Mandarake. That should get you started. It has toys at the bottom but each floor is themed different and it is a good source of doujinshi. Back on the main street there's also a huge orange building (more than one, but one is predominantly for girls and one is for boys, you'll see which is which quite quickly) called Toranoana とらのあな which is stuffed with doujinshi. The rest you can find just by roaming.

I seem to recall Toranoana is opposite Mister Donuts along the main street and Mandarake is on the same side as Mister Donuts but down the immediate side streets. So if you find Mister Donuts in Akihabara, you're all set.

Download this map, maybe - the big road called 中央 street is the one I mean:
