Renaissance...the trailer looks awesome!

Looks good, though the dystopian story is getting a little old after Equlibrium and V For Vendetta. Any way, its great to see serious animation for adult actually coming out of somewhere else other than Japan.

No talking / dancing animals = win.

I love the visual style but I'm a bit concerned about how it will look over the full length of a film - I recall seeing Pi a while back which had the same stark b/w colour setup (albeit in saturated live action) and it did my head in after a while!

It's certainly interesting enough to be worth keeping an eye out for.

Does look very cool, the black and white cell-shading effect gives it a real dark undertone. Might have to rent it when it comes out cause lets face it it won't last long at the cinema too arty and new to work on most people... plus no Jennifer Anniston or Vin Diesel lol

I saw a review of it in a film mag (don't know which but it had Samuel L. on it) and it didn't get a very good review. I only got two stars but then again who ever listens to critics- some of the most memorable films got absolutely panned by critics. Its got to be better than the endless trashy remakes Hollywood keep churning out.

I'm not sure if this is something that interests me, i think the style is quite ugly, but like Paul said i think it's great to have a animation aimed at adults outside Japan :)
