Was wondering if anyone could recommend some good animes to watch?

I'm stuck in alone all bored and shiz!

I like all kinds but comedy/romance/slice-of-life mainly

I'm terrible at explaining things o_O. Its basically an old shojo anime/manga about a poor girl that goes to a rich school and is picked on by everyone. And there are these four boys that belong to the richest families in Japan and they pick on her and but she likes one of them and so on. I told my friend to watch it but she was put off by how old it was.
It was pretty dramatic at times and I really enjoyed it.
 
there's a ton of Rom-Coms and Slice of Lifes that i can think of, gonna list most of the ones i've watched, not sure if you've seen them or not

the ones that aren't strictly Rom-Coms are in bold

Seto no Hanyome, Rosario + Vampire, K-ON!, Kaichou Wa Maid Sama!, B Gata H Kei, Karin, Ai Yori Aoshi, School Rumble, Vampire Knight, Kare Kano, Nyan Koi!

and that's all i can remember for now, hope this helps :)
 
I agree with the previous posts about Kare Kano, School Rumble, Ai Yori Aoshi and Aria.

I will add the following: Ninja Nonsense, Koi Kaze, The Familiar of Zero, Marmalade Boy, Maison Ikkoku, Ouran High School Host Club, Kodocha, Ranma 1/2 and Key the Metal Idol.
 
Maison Ikkoku and Honey & Clover do the comedy/romance/slice of life thing better than anything else.

As for shows others have mentioned, School Rumble is very funny and Paradise Kiss is just awesome.
 
I'm currrently cracking myself up with Hayate, the combat butler. It's a non-sensical comedy full of references which breaks the fourth wall a lot. That already crept into my favourites and it's almost beating the likes of Excel Saga and Azumanga Daioh down...
 
Toradora, School days, CLANNAD, Kanon, Air, ef a tale of memories/ melodies, B Gata H kei (just finished airing, ending was a bit meh), K-ON! s1 and 2, School Rumble, Maid-sama, i'm going to assume you've seen these but i'll say em anyway, Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh, Excel Saga, I've heard Ichigo 100% is pretty good. Arakawa Under the bridge is ongoing and it's hilarious. Bakemonogatari is good and the last ep should be soon. Omamori Himari, Working!!, Angel Beats, Baka to test to Shokanju, Hanamaru Youchien. Here as some which are mainly about the fanservice aspect, i don't know if you will like em but the story's are all slice of life/romance/comedy so; Ladies v Butlers, Kissxsis, Love Hina, ( i could put Omamori Himari and B Gata H kei in this section but meh.) And of course;

The melancholy of Haruhi suzumiya.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, it has aspects of Slice of life, romance and comedy but that's not nearly the main themes in it.
